Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Willis

Awful location for smoothies, to be honest. We get several smoothies nearly every day so we really tried to love this location being in a great spot for us to/from work, but I'll have to take my business to other locations that know how to make their products right.

The only thing consistent is how inconsistent their smoothies are made. A very fair statement is they get it right 10% of the time. I used to just live with it because the workers are friendly and nice to me every time (minus one time I overheard an employee complaining loudly about a customer in the drivethru that said the smoothie she recieved was watery and not sweet and wanted it remade), but lately I've had to keep asking for them to remake bad smoothies and still getting it wrong twice. I'm just tired of consistently getting awful watery, missing key ingredients, or super icey smoothies. It's like no one there has had any official training in making their brand's smoothies. You could have 4 employees make the same drink and get 4 completely different tasting and looking smoothies.

This is a new store, too. I'd recommend shutting down until you have comprehensive corporate training for consistency in making their products. But overall, I'd have to recommend anyone who loves tropical smoothie to just go to a...

I was feeling under the weather today, and my sis surprised me with a sandwich wrap, chips, and smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I don't know what magic was blended in to the smoothie, but I started feeling better about half way through sipping on it. And it was SOOOO GOOD! It was like an Island Vacay in a cup!

Later, I decided that I would stop by for a takeout peanut butter and banana wrap and another smoothie. I typically do not drink a lot of smoothies, but feeling so bad today, I felt the need for another.

The folks in who work in this Cafe are absolutely charming and so professional!

I am so impressed with the quality of the food and smoothies and the wonderful customer service and am so glad we have this awesome little Tropical Smoothie Cafe in our little town. I will be going back many more times and plan to try all the things!

Usually i like this place and the food is solid, if a bit expensive for what it is. Just got a açaí bowl which is over $10 with the Nutella add on for an extra $1.29 and this is the banana they use. Pretty disgusting. Last time they screwed something up I sent an online complaint and they sent me a $10 gift card that didn’t even work so rather than complain privately this time I just figured I would post the pics.
