The service here was horrible!
I would advise anyone who is thinking about going here to think twice. First off, it was my wife's birthday celebration and we had a party of about 16 to 17 of us. And from the rip, we had to keep looking for our server wondering where she was at. When we would find her, she was assisting other Table's and would not return to make sure that we were okay or needed anything else.
The icing on the cake was we told our waitress that it was my wife's birthday and they informed us that they don't do the singing thing but they would bring over a dessert with a sparkler in it and of course never did.
After everything was said and done, we got the bill and noticed that it had a gratuity fee on it. Okay cool fine, I'm all about tipping but the service was absolutely horrible! Never not once came back over to check on us or anything after she dropped the food off to us.
So I asked for a manager and asked could they waive the gratuity and she said no because it is part of the service. Well how fair is it to pay for something that we were totally dissatisfied with.....
Not to mention how discussing the restrooms were! How is it that this is a food joint and the restrooms are like this.
I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about going not to do it. I used to love this restaurant very much (Service, Food and Atmosphere) but...
Read moreGreat food.... Reason for not giving 5 stars. SERVICE! Waitress did not give us plates and crackers to crack crabs. We had to ask for it, after she brought food and left. They also do not have miniature forks as ALL seafood places have and supply this utensil. If your crab is to soft and cracker will not work, then your kind of screwed. They don't provide thin scissor to cut through the soft shells. They give you a plastic claw cutter that should absolutely be metal that really do not work. These plastic thing are very difficult and scary to use as they are on the edge of breaking, and can break and literally hit you in the eye(like I am not joking). If they provide you with a metal version (as they definitely shoud) then of course it will be easy to cut the crab and enjoy the great tasting food. It was not enjoyable at all using this plastic claw thing. They did give me a discount but it's really not the point. If you open a seafood place like this. Have the proper utensils so the customers can enjoy the great tasting food. Don't use plastic utensils as they never work. I know the restaurant thinks they are saving money, but your not. Your losing customers! Please rectify this so I can come back to enjoy the...
Read moreMy Husband decided to take me out for dinner he googled a few places and chose Crafty crab. It was kind of empty for a Saturday evening which I thought was odd. We were seated and waited about 5 minutes or more for someone to come take our drink order. We got our drinks and appetizer pretty quickly. Order our food my husband's scallops were hard not sure what was going on with them. I order green muscle as an extra in my boil they appeared to have lots of something not sure what it was in some of them threw them out wasn't trying to get sick. Our waitress T was a nice young lady and the young man cleaning the tables went out of his way to make sure my husband got his ri g he left on the table back before we got in the car. The bathroom however was disgusting looked like someone spit phlegm in one ofthe sinks, no paper towels in there. And there was a rude woman who when my husband ask where the bathroom was said" there's a big sign right over there that says restroom" instead of just pointing him in the right direction. Food was mediocre Probably won't...
