Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Wilson

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 5:40. Estimated delivery time was 30-45 minutes. I was staying up to date with the delivery tracker thing (which, by the way, is a total scam). Things were taking a little longer than I would have liked, but that was okay. Come 6:17, the tracker thing FINALLY says that they’re done “double checking for perfection” I guess I can see how that might take like, 10 minutes, considering there are other customers.

15 minutes pass, then 20, then a whole 30. So I work up the nerve to call and ask why it was taking so long. (mind you, the whole reason why I ordered pizza on the app instead of Chinese was because I hate phone calls) The call gets picked up almost instantly. I tell them I’m not calling to order, I’m calling to check up on an order I made. Dude at the phone tells me to “Hold on while he looks for the manager”. At this point is when I get ticked off. This Dominos location is the size of maybe my kitchen. Where the hell could the manager be?

Anyways, fast forward to me being on hold for 5 minutes, they hang up. They just hang up. I wait a few minutes, call back, and the thing tells me the number does not exist. I decided to check the tracker thing. It told me that at 7:14, the pizza was finally being delivered. So I wait maybe 5-6 minutes for the pizza to come...nothing. Mind you, I live not even 1/2 a mile from this location. So I call back, this time I actually got to speak to a “manager”. She told me to hold on while she checks on my order, and that she’s call me back in a little bit. I wait 5 more minutes until I get a call back from the location. I got kinda excited, like oh wow, they’re actually checking up on me. Nope. The woman on the other end asks me if I had gotten my order (????) and then hangs up.

At this point, I don’t even care about the pizza, I’m just mad. I call back a FOURTH time, at 7:35 (I ordered at 5:40!) to ask, yet again, what the hell was going on. Same thing happens with the “oh let me find the manager”. I’m on hold for 4 minutes (4!!!) until a different “manager” talks to me. I tell him I ordered a pizza 2 hours ago am that I had not received it yet. He got all fake apologetic and told me that because of the Hurricane (which was a tropical storm by the time it actually hit us) was so, so hard on them and that he was sooooo worried about the driver.

At this point I’m done. First of all, RALEIGH ROAD DID NOT FLOOD AT ALL, secondly I am maybe a 2 minute drive away from the location. Why was he trying to use excuses that I could figure out weren’t true in about .2 seconds? So I tell him that he needs to cancel the order (which took more back and forward talking than it should have) and that he could give the pizza to the “emergency truck workers” or the homeless or who the hell else, but that I was not going to accept the pizza. I am never ordering from this location again, and I will be sure to tell all my friends to...

Domino's to the rescue!!! Yesterday, March 12, 2025, our church placed two pick up orders with another pizza restaurant. To be fair we try to order from different restaurants. I picked up our first order from the other restaurant with no problem. When I went back at 5pm to pick up our second order, the restaurant had closed due to problems with their oven. Obviously something they couldn't help but we needed 14 pizzas for a meal starting at 5:30 pm. So I went to Domino's on Raleigh Road. By this time it was a little after 5. I explained my situation and two nice young ladies helped me out by taking my order. The entire crew was fantastic. Not only did they fix all 14 pizzas in what I would call record time, they even helped me load them. And I got the pizzas to church at 5:28 pm. Just in time for our meal. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and everyone said they tasted great. Thank you so much Domino's. I've really been impressed with my personal orders lately, but y'all went above and beyond yesterday and got us...

*Update * My spouse decided to purchase here again and this time the pizza was great. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. So I decided to do an update.

I'm doing this review because I am getting tired of spending good hard earned money on food. These restaurants are just throwing together. I ordered 2 pizzas, one thin crust, the other regular hand tossed. The bread was burned on the hand tossed one top and bottom. I had the pizza picked up and was sent a picture of it and I said ok because it was after 9pm and I was ready to eat. I didn't realize it was burnt as bad as it was. The taste of the crust was a burnt taste. The pizza was as thin as the thin crust one and didn't seem fresh. It feels like they had an old pepperoni pizza there done already and added the cheese blend on top and put it back through the oven. I paid over $26:dollars for food that I couldn't even eat. I'm sick and tired of paying more money and getting less quality food, and this is happening in...
