This location sucks! I have been here twice, both times were the same experience so I will never come back here again.... The first time was Thanksgiving and even though it was a holiday they were not extremely busy and they looked like they had extra employees for the holidays but they all just were wandering around the service wasn't great and the food was cold, a lot of the items on the menu were "Out of stock" according to them, they even rushed us to take our order and then when my son asked for a hamburger the guy said he had to go check if they have that and came back like 10 minutes later saying they did have it he was wrong and they never topped our drinks off or asked if we needed anything just ignoring us. The second time was just on Christmas and it was the same... A lot of customers but not like a line down the block, just a cafe with usual breakfast or lunch service and it again looked as if they had extra employees for the holiday but right away they started with the "we don't have" me and my sister asked for orange juice and she went to get our drinks and then comes back and says "the orange juice is frozen can I get you something else?" Well it's Christmas breakfast/lunch why is the orange juice frozen when that is an item for that time? And you have it for customers, customers want it, but you can't make it happen.... Most people like cold orange juice I'm sure if you put it in my glass it would melt just from them holding the glass from the kitchen to my table, or set it out for a second since the food has to cook anyways, and how is it frozen when it's in the hot kitchen????? The problem is also the food ALWAYS comes out cold ❄️🥶🥶🥶 It is microwave quality food and it is microwave temperature 🌡️🤒 They didn't have our drinks, then brought the drinks forgot to give us straws, brought the food out and almost everyone of a party of five was missing an item and it was just the easiest items that should be no brainers, my omelette said right in the description "Topped with salsa" it never had salsa I had to ask for it, my son never got the ranch he asked for, they forgot something from my sister, my wife, and my mom's meals, they never checked on us until we had to yell for their attention to get all the stuff we were missing, and then by that point we were all annoyed and agreed the tip would be NONE if it weren't Christmas so we only felt $5.00 was fair for the lousy service, cold food, missing items, out of stock items. And on thanksgiving we asked to use a coupon they said no my mom had ordered off the senior menu so that in itself is already a discount we asked to speak with manager the lady said "I am the manager" we explained that we were there for the holiday and we were three separate parties and need three separate bills because my mom is a senior and came alone and was paying for her and my son and ordered off the senior menu, I was paying for me and my wife and the food and service was not good so I should be able to use the 20% off coupon on my order, she said no because she "knew we were going to try to do that so she put all the bills together", she wouldn't split three bills even though we were from three different house holds and wanting to pay separately! But then on Christmas my mom once again ordered off the senior menu, but this time when I handed the lady the 20% off coupon she put it on the entire order including the senior meal even though last time the same people argued they couldn't because it was already discounted!!! Out of five people we all agreed it was cold and nasty and will never go there again. My son had the cowboy burger again and he is a hungry teen that will eat anything he was the only one that said it wasn't bad...
Read moreThe restaurant is smaller than other IHops I've been to. We were seated quickly by a person who wasn't our server. The server kept rocking back and forth, like she was on drugs. She took my son's drink order, but then came back and asked if he was going to drink something. He had to remind her. She kind of had an attitude when asking my husband and son what kind of pancakes they wanted. When she started bringing the food over, she was almost throwing it onto the table. She brought over my hashbrowns (said nothing), husband's pancakes (saying "here you go"), and son's meal (saying "here you go"). Then like 2 minutes later brought my husband's food (saying "here you go"), then another 2 minutes brought my food (said nothing). They have the oval plates, but she put the smaller side towards us. I found that odd. She didn't offer ketchup nor hot sauce. My son got up and found another server to bring those over. She didn't check on us until we were almost done. No offer of drink refills. There were 3 other tables she waited on, all came in after us. They got their food first, and drink refills, and their plates cleared before we were even checked on (empty dirty plates at the tables edge). A manager came by and asked how we were before the server ever did. My son answered her before I could say anything. She had me pay on a computer thing at the table, but chose to highlight a 20% tip. I changed it to zero, and left a cash tip. She even had an attitude about bringing me the paper receipt. The food was ok. I never gave her reason to be rude to me, nor us. I was not mean nor rude...
Read moreWe had breakfast at the Wilsonville cafe, I forgot how the food is and why I never want to return. We choose the sirloin steak with onions and mushrooms, but got quite the surprise when it came in a sweet sauce! come on!! is marinated with Coca-Cola with mango, they ruined a good dish with the marinade they choose. It would have been good if we knew it was going to come sweetened because the family member to enjoy it is diabetic. Secondly, the chicken sandwich was terrible, my children live for these sandwiches but it came out dry and overcooked and the bread too crispy and dry. Don’t bring your family there, it is a waste of money, I spent $126 for my family of 6 and the staff after we gave them suggestions I felt like they blew us off, like they have no power to suggest or initiate change with the chain of IHOP, suggest a soy based marinade alternative, but we were told “everyone likes it and it’s regularly ordered. You will be disappointed! I can only say the buttermilk pancakes and eggs haven’t changed, they are what I have experienced for years and wasn’t disappointed with those items. No surprise there. The only good the food is for...
