First time here, wont be back! Ended up walking out without eating after being there for over an hour. I was super excited to try because there are so many good reviews. After being seated it took around 20 mins for anyone to come over to our table and take our order. The waiter finally comes over and apologizes that the “other waiter” hadn’t taken our order yet. We order, our pork dumplings come (which were amazing), then my noodles come out and my friends side of rice, but not her pho dish. My noodles came with two spoons and the food runner/the only other waiter says “oh you aren’t sharing?” He goes to the kitchen and both waiters never come back to our table. So i wait, with my food getting cold, for another twenty minutes, until who i assume is the owner or manager comes over and asks what we’re waiting for and she also goes back to the kitchen. Another 10 minutes go by and the first waiter comes back to tell us that there’s no pho left!! They ran out of broth... but he can give her the same dish that i ordered. He said “it’s okay you guys will be getting a free dessert!” Well doesn’t everyone get the free dessert? Both in shock, we just agreed for them to make her the same dish i got. After another 10 minutes, and the owner/manager woman never coming back over to apologize or anything we left $10 on the table for our dumplings and walked out. At what point did they realize they were “out of pho”?? That’s like a sushi place saying they’ve run out of rice, or Starbucks running out of coffee beans. Almost every meal on their menu is made with broth and they run out? Seems like BS to me. Food looked great but the service was complete garbage for the price they’re charging....
Read moreO stars for this place. Dined in tonight and the service was incredibly terrible. Me and my sister dined in and paid a $74 tab and place a tip on the table. Not once did the waiter come check on us, upon walking in we had to seat ourselves until I had to ask said waiter to seat us at a booth instead due to us bringing in a 2 year old child. Incredibly discriminatory against a disabled child due to her being "loud". We asked for napkins and never got them, limes never got them. As we were dining in we watched several people come try to pick up their take-out order and they literally had to walk up to the waiter to get serviced. Would never dine in at this place. Service recovery wasn't even an option as we tried to explain to one of the other waiters since we were told there were no managers. The waiter didn't know how to help us due to the horrible experience and laughed at the situation. We would definitely be seeking to talk to the owner as a refund should be given for the discrimination and horrible service. This was a very traumatic situation for us and my 2 year old disabled niece. I told the waiter I wanted to pay with Apple Pay and i paid for the tab and clicked “no tip” due to me and my sister tipping cash on the table. He then proceeded to say “NO TIP?? Read moreHow do I begin? This place gave me one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. I went with a coworker to get take out during lunch. We waited 45 minutes for the food. By time we got it we were in a rush to get back to the office. Once we got there, the Beef Lemongrass rice noodles I ordered, ended up being some other order that consisted of a mountain of onions and imitation crab meat (and some unidentifiable creature of the sea). Annoyed that the order I waited so long for was wrong, I proceeded to call What the Pho figuring perhaps they could deliver the correct order or refund me at this point.
I tried calling, the first time; it went to voicemail with no message (odd for a business). I left a message saying what happened and to please return my call. Then, my coworker and proceeded to call the entire afternoon getting nothing but a busy signal. This was Friday, 10/13…its Monday and I never heard back from this business. I tried calling over the weekend multiple times.
This is atrocious customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but to not even call a customer back or be available to deal with order problems? Awful. By the way, this happened during lunch on 10/13 and our server was the bartender who even reiterated my order number several times.
