They hate homeless people and discriminate against them. A lot of the morning crew hates their jobs and take it out on the customers. They fight with customers instead of providing good customer service and they fail to realize that a lot of their repeat business is homeless people who pay for food there so treat them with respect and stop calling the police on all of them and stop discriminating against them. There were homeless ppl charging phones in the kids area in the morning & female mgr got nasty telling them to get out it wasn't open yet which it really wasn't a big deal to have them sitting charging their phones quietly even though the children's play area wasn't open yet so the homeless people got up and then all of a sudden other normal customers who the mgmt didn't seem homeless were allowed to sit back there. Discrimination at its finest. I have an idea, how about being nice to homeless ppl they have had a rough time instead of immediately having attitude and realize that they not only pay for food but others pay for food for them so there is a lot of business thru them and you happen to be in the middle of a large homeless community so help out maybe do something for them with an outreach and here's an idea - not everyone with a backpack or luggage that come in are homeless, some ppl just have to pack for the day out there and actually have work in their bags or school or arts and crafts and don't judge books by their covers. I know of several ppl who have been treated poorly because they were perceived by staff as being homeless and they aren't but it was an eye opener for them because they got to see the discrimination up close and personal and were disgusted by employee and mgmt behavior and how they treated homeless ppl like they were less than humans, shoot they treat animals better or in ordinate objects better. My husband and I have been treated very unfairly and very unkind by mgmt and staff and it was only after we fell on hard times but before that or before we started bringing backpacks we were treated like top notch customers and now we have been treated like dirt & no matter what we treat everyone with kindness...
Read moreOkay, so to preface this: normally I'm not a high maintenance customer. I, like many people, tend to head to McDonald's when in a rush and needing a fast meal. Instead of going to through the drive thru, I opted to go inside and place an order since I also needed to use the restroom. Big mistake. Naturally, this was during the dinner rush so the employees were slammed (totally understandable, btw) and there were at least 5 customers standing at the counter, waiting to have orders taken with no one manning the two registers. After placing my order at one of the touch kiosks, I then waited for 5 minutes (during which two gentlemen who were there before me asked about the kiosk being faster than waiting for an employee to take notice of them) and got my food from the red-headed manager of the place. I asked her for the code to the bathroom and for her to place my food out of the way behind the counter.
Boy oh boy here's where it gets good: there are only two stalls in the women's restroom and the one closest to the sinks was already taken so naturally I head to the largest stall. Upon opening the door, what do I see skittering across the floor in the far corner of the bathroom? An inch long cockroach. No, it was not a water bug or a palmetto bug. This was a sewer roach, plain and simple. And where there's one in plain sight, there's at least a hundred more you don't know about lurking elsewhere. Shrieking and backing out of the stall, I forgot all thoughts of peeing in peace and just opted to wash my hands to get rid of all the casino grime and get the hell out of there ASAP. And, of course, there were no paper towels either. So when I went back to grab my food, which probably wasn't my wisest idea, I told a male employee about the roach in the bathroom. He seemed very unconcerned about it, almost as if he didn't register what I was saying and then went to work on food orders in the back of the joint. Yeah, I probably wouldn't go there again. I think they need to pay better attention to their establishment's hygiene. The food was...
Read moreI moved into this neighborhood about 9 months ago, I literally go for coffee everyday, a large w/13 creams. I have been getting that same coffee for about 7 yrs, everyday, some Sundays I get two. There have been a few times when the coffee wasn't hot, so I would take it back to get it corrected, I want it to be hot, not cooled off before I hit the freeway. For the last week or so, ( and this location is suuuuppperrrrr sllllllllllllow) I have gone inside to cut the wait time. I have encountered some of the surliest young ladies I have ever encountered, just unnecessarily nasty. I brought my coffee back yesterday, when the young lady that took it passed the (surly) girl that prepared it, she said, " this is cold." The girl that made it, retorted, "well, its got 13 creams in it" That is no excuse and her little remark was unnecessary. TODAY I go in and the vibe was as though they were waiting for me. The new surly girl took my kiosk ticket and ended up making it. Aren't they NOT supposed to handle consumables if they are also handling money? I felt the temp through the cup, I could tell it wasn't hot, I tasted it and went back to the counter. The cashier surly girl, that made it began to go back and forth with me...I cut in and asked, are we going back and forth over my coffee, can I just get this fixed. The attitude was obvious, irritating, and puerile. This girl also dropped a cup on the floor while she begrudgingly made my corrected coffee, she PICKED UP THE CUP AND SAT IT BY THE COFFEE prep station where someone is bound to come along and use it. ( I am also making a report to the health dept. handling food and money, annnnnd dropping items on the floor). I called corp and the guy that took my complaint sounded as though he couldn't care less. I'll just start going to the one closer to the freeway. I was trying to hang on with this location because I can see that they are going through a transition, but I am not going to have my mornings start...
