Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Winder

Well, Marcos was a terrible idea. Should have done Taco Tuesday. Pizza buyer beware! Open the pizza boxes and triple check everything before letting the delivery driver go (or before leaving store) Tried to order delivery online. Didn't work; website design and the communication to store locations is terrible... So we called the store for delivery... Store advised there is a 2 hour wait for delivery... So we placed the order for pickup... Store is only 2 mies away. We ordered 3 large pizzas. For some reason they couldn't make a large thin crust pepperoni pizza... So we ordered a medium thin crust pepperoni instead... We also ordered a large pepperoni and a large works pizza. Sounds simple. Right? Get to Marcos, pick-up pizzas, head home, open pizzas, wrong! The medium thin crust is a cheese, not pepperoni, and Marcos may have accidentally dropped the large pepperoni in the fryer before boxing it because the box melted from the grease on the ride home. The large works pizza looked like they put the toppings on after Marcos cooked the pizza. Whatever... I've had worse. The customer service is why I'm writing this terrible review. We called the store to get the thin crust pizza fixed and the store put us on hold, then hung up. Unacceptable.

Update to review: You gotta be kidding me. You send an auto response to my review telling me to copy and paste this into your tellmarcos.com site. Think about the reasons I would do that... I wouldn't. Obviously, the restaurant, maybe even the franchise, doesn't care about their customers, and want to keep the issues swept under the rug, out of the public eye. I don't want a coupon for 1 dollar off another bad pizza from Marcos. I would have liked for someone at Marcos to have a little respect and decency for their customers and not hang up on them when they call your restaurant and tell you all you're screwing up. I own a company as well and I would go out of business if I didn't listen to...

This place is absolutely horrible. I am highly disatisfied with the customer service. I ordered two pizzas and waited a good 45 minutes and realized that it was not coming. So i called the store and the lady i spoke with said that the delivery guy took it took the wrong house. So i asked to speak with the manager and after explaining what had happened to her, she said that she can make another one. I then asked her if we get a discont or anything for our inconvience since it has now been an hour and fifteen minutes and she proceded to tell us no. So once the conversation was over, i got a call from the delivery guy saying he was on his way with the pizza. I waited 20 minutes and called the delivery guy back, in which he rudly said that our phone call was a prank and hung up. At this point i got up and left my house in order to now physically talk with the manager in person. Given this was supose to be a delivery. Once i arrived and asked her whats going on. She proceeded to tell me that i still had to pay full price even with the delivery charge. After me waisting two hours of my time on pizza that should have been delivered, i thought there would be some sort of an apology or money refunded due to me having to go out of my way. Lesson to be learned i will Never order from this place again and i advise yall to do the same unless you want bad service and...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I used to order here at least once a week. It's gone downhill a lot. This last time was the last straw for me. My pizza finally arrived 2 hours after I was told it would. Someone finally brought it to me after I kept calling to find out where it was. I was told one of the drivers quit on the spot because he couldn't take the stress of it anymore (can't say I blame him) so he returned my pizza back to the store and didn't deliver it. Finally got my pizza after it had been sitting in a car for 2 hours. I was told I would be refunded my money. The owner called me the next day. Said it takes a few days to post to my account. Here we are a week later still hasn't posted. She never refunded my money just told me that to tell me what I wanted to hear. Kept asking me what else can I do for you. How about do what you told me you would? It's a shame this place sucks because it is in a good area where it could do well. It's poorly managed and they don't care about their customers. I can see why the reviews are the way they are. Lesson learned I won't ever order from there again. Don't make my same mistake. There are better pizza...
