I put in a mobile order for 2 iced caramel macchiatos and one medium fry. I pull up to the speaker, and I’m told that he’ll be with me in just a minute. 2 cars in the right speaker had their orders taken, went up to the window, and had left by the time I had decided to pull up as well. Also noting, while we sat waiting for 10 minutes at the speaker, the guy on the intercom left his mic on and was talking and cussing to his coworkers but couldn’t hear me at the speaker. When I pulled up to the window, I was ignored again for a couple more minutes while he fiddled with the drive thru register, until he tried to hand me somebody else’s order without asking me what I ordered in the first place. I told him I had placed a mobile order, and he told me to pull off to space 2, and we’d receive it soon. We wait 10 more minutes, watching everyone else receive their orders (about 4-5 cars) until another car has to park. The associate YELLS across the drive thru from the window that I need to pull up to space 1. Then the guy behind us that pulled into space 2 receives his order and leaves. Then the associate comes out and tries to hand us the wrong order again. So he goes back inside, we wait even longer. We pull to the front to speak to the manager, and the associates ignore us until the manager with the crusty red hair comes up to us and says that she can’t fulfill a refund because the order was correct and her staff wouldn’t make us wait that long. By the time we left, the bank statement from us paying & arriving was almost 30 mins. The coffees we received when we walked in to ask the manager where our order was ready were wrong, & the fries were cold by the time we left. Not sure how this McDonald’s is...
Read moreI was job hunting for my first job and got hired there, which the work part was fine, however their communication is very toxic. I should also point out that I have anxiety that I take meds for with a slight learning disabilty. Nobody but one or two wore name/position tags so I couldn't tell whose in charge nor whose who, that I ended up with a panic attack after getting screamed at because I asked the wrong 'manager' for a 10 minute break, all 'WHO IS YOUR MANAGER??' but how am I supposed to know whose in charge of me or not if they don't tell you? I had to call my mom to calm me down, because I felt so bad, that I was trying so hard to impress them, so they don't think of me as a flake. Apparently nobody knows whose in charge, as to why employees leave or receive sour complaints from the consumers, therefore I can't be the only one that has dealt w their lack of communication. Not only that, but they never provided me a proper uniform, they wouldn't give me a schedule, no numbers to call, not a thing to perpare me for, and even though I was willing to look past the langauge barrier, they each spoke so quietly in a loud, beeping enviorment that it was difficult for me to understand them at all, especially since they only give you small bits of information about the rules and what means what at a time, which was very irritating, especially as a first-time worker, so it made me feel lost, overwhelmed, and ansty when the pace is slow, as the work part was what actually calmed me down. While McD is usually the perfect job for first-time employees, not this particular store unfortunately so I guess I'll find some place else w a better system for first-time workers...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. McDonald's as a company needs to get their priorities straight and this location needs to train their employees in customer service better.
The new thing is that you have to put your own order in on a touch screen, which I like since I know my order gets put in correctly. BUT if I have to put my own order in I don't want to have to wait in a line to get my drink cup. Finally I gave up on the line and hoped it would come out with my food, WRONG! The boy who brought my food literally didn't even stop at the table. He walked by dropping the tray as he went, by the time I looked up, saw the cups weren't there and started to say something he was long gone.
I got up to get back in line AGAIN so I could actually have a dang drink. I had to wait 10 minutes while someone complained about the same boy who just dropped off my tray. I finally got my cup and ate. WHAT A HASSLE.
Another really annoying thing are these ketchup packets they are all going to. If I am dining in, why do I have to open 10 ketchup packets?? What's worse is you have to beg them to give you that many. What happen to the pumps for in the store, heck just go back to the squeeze bottles, anything but these dang packets.
On a positive note I do like the new quarter pounder patties when they...
