I do deliveries with Doordash and I’ve probably picked up about 150+ orders from this McDonald’s since I’ve been with Doordash. Usually my experience with this location is fine, not fantastic by any means, but usually pretty standard. Every time I come to pick up an order for a customer, either the manager or another employee tells me to not stop at the speaker because this holds up the line for people placing orders and that I should just keep driving past the speakers when I’m in line and pull up straight to the window. So, I started doing that. I might also add that it has started saying to not stop at the speakers on the literal instructions for pickup in the dasher app, so that’s what I do. Well tonight I was picking up an order for a customer(it was probably the 5th or 6th order for this McDonald’s that I had accepted tonight, so not the first one of the night or something) and I pulled up to the line and nobody was in the line at the speakers so I just did what I always do now, and continued to pull up to the window. I get to the pickup window and I hear someone literally screaming at the top of their lungs. They had to be because I literally have hearing damage in one of my ears from a car wreck from years ago, so they definitely had to be screaming as loud as they could for me to hear them. I turn to look just out of curiosity and I see an EMPLOYEE sticking her whole head out of the first window where customers pay and screaming at ME “MA’AM!!! MA’AM!!! YOU HAVE TO STOP AT THE SPEAKER SO I KNOW WHY YOU ARE HERE!!!” I tell her “at least 5 employees have told me to stop pulling up to the speaker and to just pull to the window.” She SCREAMS back “NO!!! YOU NEED TO CIRCLE AROUND AND COME BACK TO THE SPEAKER AND TELL ME WHY YOU ARE HERE!!!” Lol what? Again, this was probably the 5th or 6th time I had been to this McDonald’s tonight and this is the first time that this employee screamed this at me…at 1:30 in the morning…in the drive thru…out the window where customers pay…while there are people in line behind me. Idk if she has mental health issues going on or if she was on a power trip, or just having a bad night, but good lord lady. Even my 12 year old has better sense than to ever act like this, ESPECIALLY in public. Especially while you’re literally at YOUR JOB. Maybe a training refresher is needed or something..possibly some anger management too. This won’t sway me from picking up orders for customers from this McDonald’s, but let me tell you, you work in customer service. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and a half, and this not only gave me secondhand embarrassment for her, but it also was just extremely disappointing to see someone act so unprofessional to someone that literally was following instructions specific to the location they were simply picking up an order from. Maybe take some deep breaths and try again? You only made yourself look ridiculous as I wasn’t the only one that was taken aback by this. Even the other employees working were wide eyed and stifling their laughter by this tantrum they had just witnessed…lol anyway..do...
Read moreMy husband, my three boys and I went there for a Friday afternoon family day. It was busy since it was lunch time. No problem, I get that. We get our food and sit in the play room area. There's a couple families in there but it's not loud or anything out of the ordinary. My 4 year old son goes with my 10 year old son to play in the play house. All of a sudden we hear several kids screaming at something (someone) and laughing. My 4 year old comes running to us crying and shaking so terrified and we see 4 girls ages about 10/12 back up from him. They had surrounded my son screaming at him. Their parents no where in sight. My husband goes to the General manager Ishmael and tells him his concern. The manager rubs him off like it's nothing tells him they are just kids and they yell. And he would come in there in a few minutes to see what's going on. He never shows. My son terrified shaking and crying still. He wouldn't go back to play and wanted to leave. He kept saying I don't know why they yelled at me. We pack up the remainder of our food since unable to finish and go try to get the managers name. He tries to hide his name tag and says there's nothing he can do for us. We call corporate and today 3 days later received a call back from Lonnie Snyder that told us we should have just called the cops that his employee did right by not upsetting another customer and not handling the situation. Sad! So my son being terrified of playgrounds now is just okay because other kids wanted to bully him?!!! He also went on to tell us that the rules posted in the room are not to be enforced. We will never go back to that McDonalds or another ever. And I will happily share my experience with families to let them know how heartless and pathetic their management and non customer friendly...
Read moreHow can I reach or get in contact with HUMAN RESOURCES? I ordered a fish sandwich and a small fry and was told to pull up to parking spot number 1. I politely pulled up as I didn’t see an issue so the waiting for fresh food . After waiting 25 mins I got back in line to see what was taking so long. I couldn’t go inside because I have my mother in the car with me battling stage 4 cancer and have to rush to get her home but she wanted McDonald’s on the way home. As I got back in line I showed my receipt and they saw at this time it has been 30 mins I’ve been waiting for a fish sandwich and fry that shouldn’t take any longer than 10 mins tops to make. They asked if I wanted a refund or the food? I politely said I would like both for the inconvenience. The person at the window stated “ she said she’s not doing both if you don’t like it you can leave and not come back here”. If it weren’t for my sick dying mother who wanted McDonald’s I would’ve definitely made sure I got who the person was sending messages through the window. The system you guys have here is horrible and I see why sales are down at this location. No communication and lack of urgency for simple orders. No reason it should take anything longer than 10 mins for the line to move. I won’t stop until I get in contact with...
