Perla's Pizza — Restaurant in Winter Park

The DJ is so loud it would not be a good spot for a date night or if you actually want to talk to the person you are with. The wings were burnt and flavorless. The garlic knots were good, but 4 for $12 is a little expensive? We got there and ordered around 9:30 PM, 2 hours went by and we still did not get our pizza. We spoke to the manager twice and two waiters and still no pizza... we ended up just leaving around 11:45 PM. (They stay open until 2 AM) It was a Friday night and they are new, so I was trying to give them grace but we asked about it 4 times...at the end the manager was playing DJ and we still had no pizza lol... just weird. Perlas has an amazing atmosphere … lively, warm, and welcoming. The food is delicious, the cocktails are well done, and the music gives the place a really fun energy.

Chef Marcus is fantastic … he doesn’t just stay in the kitchen; he comes out to check on his guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their meal and having a good time. You can tell he really cares about the experience. The whole team is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even better.

They mentioned they’ll be adding a gluten-free dessert soon, and I’ll definitely be back to try it!

I had a good time at this place! It’s a great spot for a casual meal. The pizza I tried was incredible, and the drinks were delicious too! This is personal preference but I did wish I had a bit less dressing on my salad though, or maybe offer extra on the side if needed. Overall, it was a great experience. There’s also a DJ playing in the background, which adds to the vibe. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Parking was a little hard to find but not really the restaurant’s fault.
