A bit overdue. Two weeks ago, as I was driving from New York to Maryland, and I stopped in New Jersey at this Dunkin' Donuts to get some coffee. I went through the drive-through as there was no line I figured I could just get my coffee quick and get back on the road ASAP. As the lady who was taking my order comes over the intercom to receive my order she can't stop laughing like a fool, because some guy inside the restaurant was flirting with her. So much so that I was not sure if she even got my water right even though it was just coffee. On top of that, she's talking to this guy, and attempting to take my order at the same time.
When I get to the window a profession gentleman of Asian descent (who may have been the Manager) kindly took my payment, and just to make sure he asked me what I ordered. I could see from the look on his face, that he was not impressed with the lady working the drive-thru. After which he said that he would go check on my order, and he came back promptly to tell me that my order would be ready in a minute. Also he saw me gathering two items of trash in my car, and asked if he could take it and throw it away for me. I gave him a Ginger ale bottle that I had, and he was nice enough to throw it out for me. The lady who was laughing up a storm earlier, came to the window to receive my payment, and she saw the gentleman who took my empty soda bottle. She was a tall, and heavy-set Spanish lady.
I gave her my card for payment, and made sure to ask (not assume) if she could take my second item of trash, which was a small coffee cup I bought at a previous Dunkin' Donuts while on my road trip. She quickly threw her hand up in the air and jumped back, like an immature child and acting as if I was going to rob her, shook her head no, and said the trash is on the other side. She could've been kind enough to take a small coffee cup, and throw it out for me, or better yet she could've been more professional and just politely said that she could not take my cup, even though her manager, prior to her coming to the window asked to throw out my trash for me. Interesting, this lady could not take my order in a professional manner, as she was so busy laughing like an idiot and chatting with the man flirting with her, and could not speak professionally when face to face with a customer at a drive-thru.
I feel sorry for the Asian gentleman that has to work with her, and I feel sorry for Dunkin' Donuts as this is the type of person representing their brand. I do not recommendšš¾ Better yet, find a Starbucks, or another place for coffee,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going to this location for a while, mostly via drive-thru. Lately the woman at the window has had an attitude unprovoked and the coffee Iāve received has been given at a half cup when I paid for coffee expecting it to be my complete order. Today, I ordered an oat milk latte and it wasnāt all the way full. I always check my coffee or any drink with a closed lid before I drink, and when I opened it there were stains that showed it was full and some was poured out and there were bubbles in it. When I arrived to work I checked again and the bubbles were gone so I figured one sip wouldnāt be bad. I warmed up my coffee and took a sip and itās straight up some black coffee with a hint of milk to disguise that thereās no sugar or anything in this latte. I try not to give critical reviews especially with how the pandemic has affected peopleās lives but this is repeated behavior and deplorable. The only thing that could save the coffee is that I have honey at my desk for ājust in caseā moments and because I have tea. So my $3.45 is going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a small mocha latte and I was given peppermint mocha by accident (which is fine, we all make mistakes). However, I was given attitude by an Indian man who was taking care of my order telling me āI donāt know why. I put mocha in thereā, basically saying Iām wrong and did not even attempt to fix the situation. I was extremely confused because it tasted distinctly like peppermint. I didnāt want to just walk out because I didnāt want to pay for something I did not want, so I went to another worker and told her about my drink. She ended up telling the same Indian man and he started raising his voice saying āmocha, mocha!ā And just gave me attitude the whole time trying to remake my drink. I was not trying to get two drinks as I gave the other one back for him to throw out. Then he commanded me to throw out my old straw as if that would make a huge difference. I hope this Dunkin realizes this man needs to learn proper customer service (or manners in general) as they will indefinelty lose custmors with...
