First I’d like to point out that we’ve been to this place a few times and for the most part, it’s been fine (food good, service okay, etc...) We just went there yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and had a terrible experience. Staff was friendly but our waitress seemed new but our food and food service was really bad. We ordered the Queso as an appetizer as we have ordered before and it was not good. We didn’t bother to say anything to the waitress at that point. We had a couple of scoops and left it as is. We ordered our meals along with the appetizers. 35 mins pass by and our food has not come out. I walked over and asked the host to check on our food as other people sat down after us and seemed to be eating. When the food finally came out you can tell it had been just sitting there and someone just forgot to bring it out. My food came out fine but they messed up wife orders and put chicken in her enchiladas, when she specified she only wanted beans, peppers, and onions. We are vegetarian and order food all the time so this wasn’t a communication error. My (pregnant) wife obviously couldn’t eat her food. At that point, I decided to let the waitress know about our service. The waitress had excuses for everything that was wrong. We ordered side orders for my food and my 1 year old son. They never came out. So my son didn’t have his meal either. I reminded the waitress to bring it out and immediately told her to cancel it as we just wanted to leave and get the check. They brought out the side orders in a to go container even though we told her to cancel it. When I got the check, the waitress charged for everything including my wife’s food and the side orders. At what point, does a restaurant realize and say, they completely ruined our meal and still charge us for the errors that were made on their behalf. No sort of way to fix anything or at least the decency not to charge for certain items. We didn’t say anything or make a stink about it. We just left. In hindsight, I wish I would have just said something to the managers and certainly not leave any sort of tip. Definitely a...
Read moreThis was my first time trying Margaritas. I have been wanting to go from the first time I saw the construction of it. I was hoping they would have that authentic Mexican style. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I wanted to try a few things to get an overall understanding of how they make different dishes. So I started off with two common items, nachos and tacos. I ordered the nacho platter That was supposed to have to work I requested that my order did not have the guacamole and the jalapenos, but I did have the refried beans the fresh salsa and the sour cream. When I received the order it was shells covered with cheese that was baked to melt the cheese. It smelled really good so I dug right into it. Problem was, I was eating chips and cheese with nothing else. I didn't understand where everything else that was supposed to be part of this dish was. After eating through the chips and the cheese I got full. I lifted up a couple of more chips and in the center on the bottom was the refried beans and the fresh salsa. I had to ask the waitress if she could bring me sour cream because it didn't come with it as it was supposed to. So I wasn't able to experience a true nacho dish the way their dish was set up he had to eat through all the cheese and the chips to get to the refried beans that was in the center on the bottom of the plate. I also ordered two styles of tacos hard shell and soft shell. The hard shell was done in the same format as the nachos once the cheese was put on it was put in the oven and baked to melt the cheese. That too also didn't have any sauce, it was dry. The soft shell had plenty of juice but the shell wasn't an authentic shell, it tasted more like a store-bought shell. This was disappointing to me, I had really hoped for something better. Well, I can say I tried this restaurant. That's all I can say. Hopefully someone else has a better...
Read moreI really don't know what the people that have a review higher than one star are smoking. This place is horrible. We have given a a try over THREE times with each experience exceptionally worse than the other. Let's help break down each visit to help those deciding: Visit 1 - Food took two hours. Yes exactly two hours. I am not making any this up. I will never forget the time I got a literally frozen set of appetizers at this place. Like you could see the frozen crystals. That was my first visit. Visit 2 - Waited about 1/2 hour for our seat, which wasn't horrible. Asked for the table to be cleaned cause you could visibly see a gross table full of salsa, beans and soda all over the table. Mind you, the wait for our seat was due to them having to "clean the table" for us. We sit down and the waiter comes over to ask for our order, and we asked again for the table to be clean or to be moved to another table. With many tables around us empty, we assumed it wouldn't be difficult. The guy comes back and says sorry for that, but he will get the table cleaned for you right away. I guess "right away" in their mind is another 45 minutes. One hour and fifteen minutes after entering the restaurant, we still had a messed up table, no drinks or food. It gets better... When we finally ordered our food, both my wife and I got completely wrong orders at the table. Visit 3 - This restaurant was still open so my wife and I decided that the third time is a charm. This time, we literally got near frozen cold entrees. It was as if after they were cooked, someone put them in the fridge.
Yup, never going here again. When my wife and I go out, we don't mind spending the price for the actually quality. Can't wait til this please gets replaced with an actually restaurant that serves food...
