So my rating is based on customer service and "playin with my money" as that ultimately trumps any good food. Ordered 2 days ago, everything was fine. Until I log into my bank account. Looks like I was double charged for my order. Ok, I call the merchant to find out what happened. I explain to her what happened and the first thing she says to me is, "No.". She says, "No, it only charged once". Ummmmmm how is someone just going to say that and not look into the order? Not take the order number?? So when i ask how does she just know that, she says cause she's had a lot of other people call to say the same thing. I give her my order number so she can look it up, she doesn't. I say to her, but ma'am, if multiple people are telling you it happened, maybe it did. Maybe this is something you should take up with your management because obviously something is going on. I then ask to speak to the manager. she says they don't have one. So now I have to go back n forth about whether or not someone "above" her was in the restaurant. She says the owner was not there. (and now she only told me about the "owner" because i told her I know BETTER than to believe that there is no one there in a position above her and that has to be impossible as i've worked in many restaurants and I know how it goes). so finally i hang up on her to call my bank (since that the only thing she can tell me that makes sense). AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED PER MY BANK. I call her back to let her know how I just got off the phone with my bank and it was a double charge and maybe she shouldn't be dismissing people and telling them "no" when they call. she starts yelling about how i call with a problem and she's trying to help then starts to explain about the processor. I then cut HER off and told her NO, when I called you were NOT being helpful, you were dismissive by telling me no, wouldn't even take the order number or look anything up. That is NOT helpful at all. This whole back n forth was really unnecessary and ridiculous cause even if it was something innocent and a system glitch, i would have been fine with that as long as it was reversed. I should not have had to go through all the back n forth. REALLY, if she would have just said it's an issue that they're aware of because people keep calling them and i would be able to reverse the charges with my bank, that would have been fine. When my bank can say, "have you spoken to the merchant" then I know there was nothing wrong in the NORMAL process of letting a merchant know they double charged you. She did NOT receive that information well and I should not have been on the receiving end of her projection. It's not MY fault you've received multiple calls about this. Maybe look into it instead of getting an attitude and telling customers "No" in regards to their money. Won't be ordering from here anymore, and it's a shame as Shogun Wok was one of...

We ordered through their website ... waited 2 hours figuring they could be busy with everything going on... I waited (shame on me). I finally called to ask about the order and all I was able to say was “hello I’m checking on an order I placed 2 hours ago online” I was rudely cut off by a woman who answered and was told “no U don’t have any order” So I reply “I’m sorry but how do you know if you haven’t asked me any questions?? (I.e order number, name, address, etc) She then tells me when I place on order online I’m then supposed to follow up with a phone call and provide a confirmation number. I then explained there was no mention of this on the website nor did I receive a confirmation number. She argues (yells) with me and says every restaurant follows these rules... EVERYWHERE. There was some back and forth as she kept telling me I should’ve known that’s how it is. I finally end the back and forth as I do not want anything from them at this point so I ask her to refund the charge placed on my card. She tells me it will not be charged. I again explain to her that my card was charged. She screams “IM BUSY” and hung up on me. THEN I receive an alert about my card being compromised. I will be disputing with the bank however after reading the other reviews, this is obviously a regular occurrence and it’s been happening for a long time. Their service is terrible!
