Let's just start out by saying this is the second and last time I was forced to order from here because when having it delivered, the app placed the order here instead of the good subway 1 mile away from this horrible place.
So for context let's start with my order a month ago(nov '24). Placed a near $80 order for delivery 4 subs and a salad. The door dash driver showed up to pick it up 15 minutes after the order was sent and had to wait over 30 minutes for them to finish making the order. Our food was disgusting to say the least. Bread tasted old and stale, lettuce and spinach were slimy and watery and the tomatoes I couldn't even eat after biting into one on my sub. They were dark red and rubbery like they sat around for days not hours. The salad was even worse. It was a Philly steak salad. Aside from the nasty greens, the meat and cheese must have been microwaved together and then was just dumped on top of the salad. It was just a massive clumpy of cheese and meat congealed together to the point you couldn't even eat it.
Now for last night's order (dec '24). We placed a $70 order with 3 subs and 2 salads. I did everything I could to hope it would send the order to the good store but nope. And unfortunately the app doesn't let you cancel an order so fingers crossed we hoped it would be good or atleast better then last time. Somehow it was actually worse. For context, our order was placed at 604pm. The driver showed up at 621pm to pick it up. At 645pm it says they are still preparing the food. So I try calling the store to figure out what is going on only to find out the phone number is out of service. I find another number listed for the store so I try that one, same thing. Now it's 715pm, I've had enough and called the door dash driver. He said they had been working on the order since he got there and didn't know what was going on but they didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. I told him this is ridiculous and said to tell the store to cancel the order so he could leave and for him to get me info so I could at least send him a tip for waiting over an hour. The door dash tracking showed he left and said something about the order being changed. Now at this point start having to fast get dinner cooked for my kids because one has to work early in the morning. I'm in the process of cooking omlets for us and at 741pm I get a text saying your door dash driver is on the way! Instead of cancelling the order as the other driver told them to as I was on the phone with him they continued. My order showed up just before 8pm as my kids are eating omlets.
Now the best part, the food was disgusting looking aside from obviously being beyond cold(toasted subs). One salad, BLT, looks like a bowl of soup. The other salad bowl was just a simple salad with no dressing. The bowl was only half full, maybe, and drowning in WATER! Everything on the subs looked nasty and old and to be honest the meat smelled off to be frank. Look at the photos and just ask yourself if you would honestly trust eating any of that either. This store gives SUBWAY a bad name and how they can even be open is astounding. Better yet how have they not ended up making someone seriously sick allowing food and service like this to...
Read moreThis location doesn't open on time on a regular basis. It was like that before the pandemic, and it's the same now, maybe even worse. Some people start work at 6AM and take lunch at 10, and others work overnight and might want a sandwich in the morning. It's frustrating. If they don't want to open at 10AM, fine. But they shouldn't post their official opening as 10AM.
This restaurant is a franchise Subway. The owner seems like a nice, hard working guy, and his sandwiches are always great. But you'll have a random experience with the other employees. Sometimes things will be alright. Other times you'll get a teenager with bad hygiene and an even worse attitude. Maybe that's just the nature of any fast food place. Maybe it's my mistake for expecting better from Subway. Unlike with other fast food places, sandwich makers spend a lot of time interacting with customers. So you'd think they would be taught to be polite.
I was in there once last summer, and flies were literally swarming over the sandwich station while an employee was sitting at a table playing with her phone. I turned around and walked out, didn't come back for a couple of months.
They've been out of most of the different kinds of bread when I've been in there. This could be because I go in the morning, but it's another frustrating indication that they don't have their s*t together.
The Walmart that this Subway is located in has many problems as well. Maybe it's a negative atmosphere because it's attached to a negative atmosphere. Whatever the case, these problems are easy to fix: Open on time. Train your staff in customer service. Start caring about the business instead of treating it like a part-time...
Read moreI was at Woodbury Walmart/Subway I was having a little bit of a hard time ordering 3 separate sandwiches... well I wasn't going fast enough for the girl employee and she said can you hurry up I'm the only one here today and it has been very busy and I have alot of work to do! I told her I'm a customer and she shouldn't be talking like that to me. I also asked if they still have the sweet onion sauce ( every other one I have gone to got rid of it) and she said yes we have it, it's sweet onion teriyaki. I said NO that's not it, and she insisted that this is the only onion sauce they have had for 6 yrs. I asked her to put a sample on a napkin or something so I could see it, she gave me a annoying grunt. I did have her put it on my daughter's sandwich and it is NOT the original SWEET ONION SAUCE. So tell your employees they are wrong and also tell subway to bring back the SWEET ONION SAUCE.I DON'T LIKE THE SWEET ONION TERIYAKI that they replaced...
