Darby Winery — Restaurant in Woodinville

Went to this place, got there at 5:45pm. We have been told they open till 6pm, but they still serve wine to us. Asked a guy who was serving the wine if any places around this area open after 6pm. He said no, all the places around will be closed at 6pm. Bought 2 glasses of wine, sat outside. Around 6:15pm the guy said he needs to get our wine glasses back, they are closing. We didn't really finish our wine, he took our glasses from us. Don't make your customers hurry up, just stop serving your wine earlier. Terrable service! Never again going to this place. Will tell all my friends about the experience I had there. After that, went to the place next to Darby Winery, Village Wines that appeared to be open till 9pm....great place, good service. The wine was good, though the customer service was questionable. They were frustrated that we had a large group and didn’t have a reservation, which is totally fair, however, we were willing to be as flexible as needed to make it work. They just treated us like we were a huge inconvenience the entire time and commented on our lack of reservation every chance they got. This was my first stop touring wineries in the area and I’m glad it was! I was told that Darby was more of a red wine guy so the whites were a little on the bolder side.
