My family was there last night for Valentine’s Day dinner with family and friends and they said the waitress kept sitting down going on her phone sitting down doing nothing a lot of talking. She wasn’t even attentive at all. She should’ve been doing her job instead of sitting on her ass, the food was cold. It was horrible. They left it. Sit on a warmer. The food was terrible. It was a terrible time for a holiday, you’re supposed to go out food with your loved ones on holiday especially Valentine’s Day. The service is very poor professional. She didn’t get a tip because she didn’t deserve a tip so maybe y’all should just see who’s working for you see who’s a real worker who’s not a real worker Because with lazy workers like that that my family experience last night, my wife, my father-in-law and her friends, my brother-in-law, my wife, son and their friends it’s horrible very very very poor experience. Those servers is gonna make people not want to go to Applebee’s anymore so my opinion, my personal opinion is , who your workers are because last night your waitress sucked she didn’t deserve a tip at all. She didn’t get a tip. That’s because Of her poor performance and waitress duties she just sat down on her phone. That’s ridiculous. That’s disgusting. And furthermore, I have never been at this Applebee’s nor will I ever be there I don’t plan on never going there because you’re waitresses suck. They don’t do their jobs. It’s absolutely horrible and very, very very disgusting. If I was there, I would’ve gave her a piece of my mind. Trust me I...
Read moreMost times the food and service is great. This time, @ 1:30pm, lucky if there were 1/4 of the tables / booths were occupied, 16~20 people in total in the restaurant. Not busy..... Asked to sit at a hightop table and we were told there was a 15 min wait. Which to me was odd because 2 of the 3 high tops were empty and clean.
We sat and waited with only 1 couple coming in. They were seated in a booth within mins. Was asked if we'd like a reg table and we declined. Then after 15 mins we were told we could be seated. Seated at 1 of the high top table that sat empty the whole time we waited. Confused as to why we had to wait 15 mins to be seated at one of the empty high tops?
Our waitress was pleasant and attentive.
Chicken wings was our appetizer but it took forever to come out. Estimated it to be 30 mins? The rest of our order came out about 15 mins later. Food was delicious none the less.
Bill time, I presented a gift card & my debt card. I noticed when she swiped the gift card, it gave an error. I mentioned it to the waitress and asked what the amount was loaded on the card and said it looked like it errored out, not to swipe my debit card which she said she didn't. As she was checking at the register with another person, I checked my bank app as PNC is very quick on showing charges. The total bill was charged to my debit card. I showed them which they said they corrected it and only billed me the difference.
Well 5 hrs later, I'm still showing the full amount billed to my debit card.
Will have to follow up as my gift card is showing...
Read moreWe walked in between 445-5pm tonight, a Wednesday. There was a group of about 4-5 people to the right when you walk in, who appeared to be waiting for others to arrive. Also, a party of 3 ahead of us was seated within a minute or two of us arriving. My husband and I were waiting to be seated next. There was another girl sorting menus or putting them together. After at least 5 minutes, the girl that seated the party of 3 returned. The two girls began to talk amongst themselves. This went on for a few minutes. We had been waiting for nearly ten minutes, and not one employee said hi to us, asked how many, or even aknowleged us in any way! Not even eye contact! I turned to my husband and asked him if he still wanted to eat here. A very patient man, he was frustrated being ignored completely by the staff too. Finally, I asked the menu sorter, "are you supposed to be our hostess? We've been standing here for nearly ten minutes, and no one had spoken to us." She said, "We are trying to figure out where to seat everyone. How many? Two? It will be a little bit." There were still plenty of open tables. I don't mind waiting, but the first time we were aknowleged in any form, I had to speak up first. Since we already waited almost ten minutes being completely ignored, I told the girls, we're just going to go somewhere else. I wasn't mean about it, and they didn't...
