Wingstop — Restaurant in Wooster

I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Wingstop on their opening day. I get that it was their first day, but honestly, that’s no excuse for how badly everything went.

First off, the service was terrible. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and unorganized. No one seemed to know what they were doing, and getting anyone’s attention felt like an impossible task. When I finally did get helped, the attitude I got was less than pleasant — like I was an inconvenience just for being there.

Then there was the wait time. I expected it to be busy since it was opening day, but waiting over an hour for my food? That’s ridiculous. And when my order finally came out, it wasn’t even right. I had to wait even longer to get the missing items, and by then, I was beyond frustrated.

As for the food — I wish I could say it made up for everything, but it didn’t. The wings were cold, soggy, and lacked any flavor. The fries were limp and barely seasoned. Honestly, I’ve had better fast food at places that aren’t even known for wings.

I really wanted to give this place a fair shot, but this experience was so bad, I doubt I’ll ever go back. I hope they figure things out, but as it stands right now, I wouldn’t recommend this...

Very simple concept. Order at the counter for dine-in or carry out. Online ordering and delivery also available. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. The entire time we sat and ate there was a non stop stream of people coming thru the doors. As for the food. My tenders were good size, great crispy outside coating and the chicken was very juicy and tender. Great taste, not that wanky foul flavor you sometimes get with chicken. My husband had the boneless wings. Same great crispy outside and juicy tender inside. They are huge! He couldn't even finish all of his meal. Fries are hand cut and slightly seasoned. For as busy as the restaurant was we didn't wait more 10 minutes for our food. We arrived at 5:00 pm on a Thursday. Very casual atmosphere and you don't have to yell at the people across the table from you. Overall everyone in our group was very pleased and agreed better than the other 'wing place' Ben Lackey, the director of operations, even stopped by our table to ask how everything was. We will definitely be repeat customers. Prices aren't crazy over priced either! For the quality I got I don't mind. And they have specials too. If you haven't gone yet I recommend...

First time ever at a Wing Stop... and last. We ordered a 15 combo meal for 2 . Wings were ok( 6/10) and the mild and bbq sauces were ok ( 6//10). And it didn't take long to cook and bring out our order . Another table of 2 also present and already had food. The fries were over cooked, dark brown -possibly refried in hot grease to warm up for our order (?), were all small nubby things and tremendously over salted. Totally yucky and inedible. There is no way someone didn't know this when they served it to us. I thought about taking them up to ask about it, but it wasn’t a mistake. Someone actually served them. Is it our responsibility to call them on it?

Hubby used the restroom only to find an employee hidden in the stall using his phone. And we couldn't easily put our trash in the trash container because it was heaping full, even though someone was cleaning the area around it earlier. Maybe everyone was waiting to start closing at when we arrived at 8 and only did certain things until 11(?)
