I ordered online to pickup dinner for me and my 6 year old on our way home because it was going to be an hour long ride home and she was hungry.. I showed up about 5 minutes before the food was supposed to be ready, and had to wait (reasonable). But, the 5-10 minute wait turned into 25, I asked if I could just get a refund because we had to get home so she could go to bed. The restaurant was nearly empty, but it took an additional 20 minutes for anyone to even appear at the front again. About an hour of waiting later, we finally get our pizzas and had to rush out the door- the person at the front then accused me of not paying (which I did as soon as we got there), and really he should've been asking if I'd like a gift card or something for the ridiculous wait... we finally get in our car- and the food wasn't even close to what was ordered! I ordered a pizza with broccoli, spinach, and mushroom- I received a pizza with banana peppers, onion, ham, and tomatoes. I was already beyond behind schedule for getting my daughter home and to bed because of the insane wait, so I figured I'd just call and work on a resolution. Well, that wasn't even possible because the phone number for this location that's listed online is out of service. Literally the worst experience ever. I understand that it was just one location, but it makes me want to give up on the entire company. I've never been so upset by pizza before in my life.

Not worth the price, not worth the food, not worth the people. I stopped by for lunch and dinner in the commercial district for work, getting a deep dish both times (love it or hate it, few other places make this ) I hadn't been at unos for years, and it probably will be years again after today. I was drawn to the $10 Weekday lunches are fine: an entree and a salad for $10 is great. However the taste was hardly memorable. Both times I went the servers didn't bat an eye to me. They didn't seem to care about me at all. They weren't rude though, I'll give them that. What really frustrated me was that the two deep dishes I got was also an insult to deep dish. I didn't complain too much for the lunch special price, but the dinner pizza I got in the photo was small inadequate, and not a deep dish. Both "deep dish" pizzas i got were just a regular pizza with a thick cornicoione outer crust. The cheese and toppings were thin, and bottom crust was flaky both times. The only thing I guess was deep dish was probably the pan used to make it and the outer crust. A major disappointment to anyone who wants chicago style pizza. My frustrations of size are unwarranted, as some are that small. But for $15 and a mediocre taste? I didn't think it was worth it. Tldr the lunch deals are reasonable, but the other stuff is a gamble. Beautiful interior.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Uno, and my experience was greatly enhanced by Felicia, our waitress. She was not only attentive but also exuded a warm and professional demeanor that made our visit enjoyable. Felicia demonstrated remarkable efficiency, ensuring our drinks were served promptly and to perfection. The food at Uno was outstanding. We sampled both the deep-dish pizza and the Detroit-style pizza, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I preferred the Detroit-style—an unexpected delight, as it was my first encounter with Chicago deep-dish. Both dishes were delicious, and Felicia kindly provided us with boxes to take home the leftovers, as there was more than enough to enjoy. The pricing was reasonable, and the ambiance of the restaurant and bar was inviting. Adorned with vintage artwork and photographs of Chicago and its celebrities, the setting was both warm and appealing. Upon arrival, we were greeted pleasantly by the host, which set a positive tone for our visit. The weekday timing meant that the restaurant was not overly crowded, allowing us to enjoy a more intimate dining experience in the brightly lit space. Overall, my visit to Uno, complemented by Felicia’s excellent service, left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning in the future.

My sisters and I were staying at the connected hotel for the night. We wanted something close. When we were put on a wait list of 45 minutes, no problem it was packed. When there were seats at the bar, we stayed there. Monster truck was happening across the street, and there were a ton of screaming kids. Not the restaurants fault. Our bartender was good, she was the only wait staff that was actually trying to get work done. The male bartender had sunglasses on top of his head and was just flirting with young women that were there. I’ve worked in the restaurant/bar business as well as my sisters. We only ordered appetizers, by this time the place was cleared out. The food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The nachos were some of the worst tasting I’ve ever had, there was hardly any cheese on it. From the minute we sat down there were 5 empty tables that were still full of plates. I get they were in the weeds, but when there are a bunch of tables to be bussed and all the employees were on their phones or flirting with customers there’s no excuse. I felt so bad for our waitress, she was running the place. There was a group of kids that definitely did not look 21 ordering pitchers of margaritas and drinking them with straws. Each one in the group drank at least 2 pitchers. I went to the bathroom, 2 of the employees were in a stall doing lines and giggling, then ran out when they knew there was someone in there. Never again will I go to this place again. The lighting was the brightest I’ve seen in a restaurant. After a stressful week, we just wanted to relax ; instead we wanted to bus tables and couldn’t wait to leave. We ended up at the place down the road called Off The Rails, and wished we went there in the first place. You are better off going...

Had a group of 16. I arrived got there was told 10 minutes to get the table so my group was arriving in 10 min ( I saw the table was ready though thru my experience) then groups of people started coming in. They started seating people which was fine. Then this large group came in. They asked to be seated. Our table was almost ready ...earlier than 10 min specified. These rude leaders told the hostess they were there first ...and clearly that was not the case. They should of waited. But uno sat that group over us. Yes, I went up to the table once all were seated very clearly and calmly told the woman( who told the hostess she was there first) that she was rude and manipulative. we were on a time schedule and she had no right to get in front of us. She showed poor sportsmanship and walked away. No fighting no argument but she sure as hell needed to know her behavior was inappropriate. she needed to know that her smug self was wrong. But The manager this spinless inappropriate human asked me to leave ....mind you once i told my group of this we were planning a different spot. The hostess was toally incapable of doing her job. The manager was worse. Shameful these two have jobs as service individuals. The customer is always right you take customers in a kind orderly fashion no processed food is worth such ignorance. If uno cannot handle large sums of people then they should not be located in a busy district. I would never recommend uno again. "It's not their policy to seat large groups with out the whole group present."...
