Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Worcester

I ordered catering for a company. The sale came to over $1800 for 35 people...to be fair it was a vast amount of food. I personally traveled to the restaurant with cash in hand and all the details of what I was ordering to make it a quick transaction and they would deliver on another date. I was met automatically (I called ahead to confirm I would be met at that time and if they were available at the date and time, it was agreed by us both). I gave the order to the mgr it took us less than ten minutes, that was great! She took my order to put in the computer... now it has been a half hour. She returned and missed something and had to redo...I waited. The restaurant was warm and uncomfortable. she returns I give her the cash - over $1800 and she gives me a receipt and says it will also come to my email. I told her it's warm in here and will get a drink before I go.....She had the nerve to charge me $6.99 for a medium drink. I thought that was nervy!!! Now it's been 52 minutes since I arrived ...and remember she met me at the door. I leave --- shortly after I drive away, I receive the email with the receipt. It was incorrect and item was missing...which means I paid for more than I ordered. I called and that was corrected with no issues. Item was added and new receipt emailed. The delivery was with no issues except for the remark about how she needed to deliver another order and had to leave now. Seeing it was a holiday that made sense.... but, maybe the owner should plan for another person to deliver on a Mexican Holiday!...

Moe's beats Chipotle! #1 - they don't charge extra for guacamole.#2 - portions were bigger. My burrito bowl was Huge! The burrito was so big it really could have used another tortilla to hold it all together (maybe that's a minus but to me a huge amount of food is a plus) #3 - more variety of toppings,all of the burrito toppings and anything from tacos, etc. like pickled red onion, queso fresco, you can have any it. #4 - price was less for all of that deliciousness. $5.99 on Mondays for burritos, bowls or (I think) tacos. They also have a student special with burrito or bowl and a drink (can't remember the price but good deal if it's not a Monday or you want a drink. Just need to show your student ID). #5 Free chips and salsa! With every order, freshly made in house, standard and seasonal salsas. You serve them up yourself in those little plastic cups, so try all of the kinds you want. #6 - no cancer causing paper bowls (please recycle plastics responsibly folks), might not matter to people but I figured I'd throw it in. Finally, #7 - really nice staff! They were all friendly, helpful and seemed like they didn't mind being at work. The salsa guy was great, told me how he made the super hot salsa. I have supported Moe's for the last 12 years since they opened in Shrewsbury because support your local businesses, right? I was told i can not buy a deconstructed taco. I asked for the manager. The woman working told me he was not there. One second later he walked out from the back. It was the owner. I explained to him that I was going to work and was not going to eat the taco until later. He told me no because the presentation would be messy and rudely stated that I should dump everything out on my own. I offered to pay for the plastic Bowl assuming that was the issue. Nope just pure ignorance. They are trying to force me to buy more food. Money was not the issue I don't eat that much! I wish I never gave this business a dime, but the reality is I did. The owner is rude. Whatever happened to your mother's she was so sweet. I will never return. Chipotle was...
