Terrible service. Appeared to be predjudice. The sever first of all acted as if she couldn't believe I was asking for seating for three as I was with a somewhat elderly couple who were not the same race as myself. Next she brought out milk shakes ro two women across from our table at half price, bcuz it was after 2pm. She brought out our milk shakes as well and finally our bill.. But our milk shakes were not half price so I did question it and she just looked at me and said happy hour starts at 2. Now if it were 2pm when she took shakes to the other table and u went to that table first..... Well I'm just saying, and finally, a young man came into the restaurant and was clearly was seen standing at the front waiting to be waited on...... I even pointed him out after I noticed he had been there for a while and was beginning to appear quite frustrated. Soon after he turned to walk out the door but not before politely saying hello..... Excuse me. I kid you not the waitress looked directly at this man and said not a word. So I said hey he's about to leave, you guys are about to lose a customer.. He's been standing there for a while. One of the other waitress obviously over heard this conversation and she says to me what? What's wrong and I repeat myself to her only to hear her response to be oh well, we're not on front counter that's Denise ( I think she said, can't quite remember, but that's what I rhink she said.)It's her fault. Wow was all I could say as I was really at a lost for words. Both the young man and nmyself are Black Americans and were the only two in the restaurant (54th@Clyde Park). I believe the young lady at the front counter and one of the waitress are both bi-racial. I'm not sure. But nevertheless it was not a pleasant situation. Read moreThis location is an absolute joke and an absurd waste of time. I placed an online prder for pick up 44mins prior to my scheduled pick up time. I arrive 1 min early and there is a huge line. I eventually make my way to the front and there is no cashier to greet any guests. I am standing there for 15mins just watching the cook work before the manager Derek returns to the front with a register and finally guests are greeted. Derek apologizes to the crowd of now 19 people waiting in the entrance for the inconvenience and proceeds to cash out a family that has been waiting 40mins to pay for their dine in meal. I ask Derek to please look into my online order when he is done with the family as they jave been waiting an exorbitant amount of time to simple pay for their meal. He yells back at the kitchen staff to check my order. Derek cashes out another guest and then collects the carry out orders for 2 other guests. 10mins has passed, so I again ask Derek to please check on my order. He states that he believes there may be another online order ahead of mine. I inform him that I at this point have placed my order 1.5 hrs ago. He checked the system and stated that he sees the orser but did not see a physical ticket for the order. I shook my head and asked if he could take care of the growing line of people that have been waiting 40+ mins after finishing their meals to pay and I would return later for a full refund. He assured me that though he will not be in, Tyler will be informed and will handle the refund. Very understaffed, no obvious sense of expediency from hosts, extremely long wait to even be greeted/acknowledged in lobby... If the wait to be greeted/acknowledged is extremely long, do not even think about ordering food and getting out within 2hrs. Would not recommend. I would suggest anywhere else. Read moreIf I could give this establishment zero stars I would. My family and I came in to have dinner and received hands down one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Our waitress started out our dinner by dumping my younger sisters honey mustard down her apron and into her pocket. She then was kind enough to give us the gift of the napkins that she just dumped honey mustard on. 3/5 orders had a mistake made on then. We were still up-charged for the items we did not receive until we brought it to their attention that our meals were in fact wrong. We ordered shakes at the beginning of our meal and no bigger mistake was made!! We ordered the shakes to go, and usually you would think that customers would like to receive them before they finish their meal. We got the privilege of waiting nearly thirty minutes after we were all done eating before we received them. This is after I went to the waitress station and pointed out that we were still waiting. When she turned to find out why we had not received them (we had ordered four) she found that two were on the counter in front of the window, and two were in the window waiting to be picked up. Obviously this is rocket science and couldn't possibly belong to the same ticket. But wait! After we have discovered that those in fact are the shakes we have been so patiently waiting on, she goes out to take another tables order. So as we are walking out the door, we receive warm milk with shake add ins that do not resemble a shake at all! But oh, they were kind enough to charge us for two of the four warm runny shakes we received instead of four. The generosity did not end there!! In the car we discovered that they had not gotten a single shake right. The waitress had a personality of a door and as a manager myself, the second someone brings it to my attention that things are not to their satisfaction, it should be made a PRIORITY to improve their experience.
