Burgers & Half Bottles — Restaurant in Yountville

Going to reserve final judgement until I've had a chance to try the chicken sandwich. It sounds like if you are on the fence, get the chicken. The pickles, toppings, sauce, lettuce, tomato on the burger were all spot-on, and the fries were perfectly cooked (slightly more cooked than some of the pictures I've seen here) - I'll bet that if they got their groove going in the kitchen, the vision of the place would be realized. If the burger was cooked perfectly, it would have been a solid 5/5. As it was, the burger was over for my liking and dry. It was a perfect well-done, if there is such a thing. I'd like to see it a bit less. That's my only criticism - pay close attention to the burger doneness, or at least offer two options of cook time upon order. ...

Glad we tried it, but this is a one and done for us. We spent $90 on 1 cheeseburger combo meal w/beer upgrade, 1 spicy chicken sandwich, 2 ice cream sandwiches and 2 HH beers. Wait on a Friday afternoon (Friday before Labor day) around 4:30 was less than 5 minutes. Luckily we snagged an open table by the beer van as soon as it became available.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't served piping hot, clearly it had been prepared ahead and sitting under heat lamps. Burger buns were dry and didn't taste like much. The best thing we ate was the ice cream sandwiches and...

Lots of negative reviews and im sure some of it is true but my experience was different. We got here at 3pm on Friday not to busy. staff was friendly and welcoming . We ordered the surf and turf burger and fried chicken sando. I thought the lobster salad on the burger was a nice touch and surprisingly delicious together. I will say the burger could have had a better sear on it for my flavor 😉 . Fries were great! I didnt get to try the chicken sando but my partner said it was just baseline. Loved that all the beer was russian river. Loved the taps...
