I scouted this place out online first because we were passing through Yuma. On the website for Burger Theory Yuma, the pictures of the food looked great and the prices were fantastic! We walked in and were told to seat ourselves. The place has a sports bar feel but it's pretty quiet. Good atmosphere for dinner. The restaurant is one decent sized room with a bar at the far end. It can probably hold 30 people for dinner. We got our menus and ordered drinks and noticed that the prices on the menus we were handed were higher than the prices shown on their website. Like a LOT higher. The Classic Burger on their website was $10. In the restaurant, it was $15. I ordered a Double Lone Star. It was very good. Great flavor and the fries were very tasty. It was $16 on the website. On the paper menu it was $19.50. When the bill showed up, it was now $20. The server corrected it by discounting it a dollar. I appreciate that but when I pulled up Burger Theory's website on my phone and asked why the prices are different, I was told "Those prices are old. We have a new menu now." The menu looked the same to me, just more expensive. We did enjoy our dinner but did not order dessert because we were now unexpectedly in the $50 neighborhood for two burgers...
Read moreMy wife and I were hankering for a good, well-made traditional Hamburger today. We're both weary of the lackluster, skimpy, assembly-line hamburgers the Fast food places are now putting out now, so we thought we'd try something different. Online, she found "Burger Theory" Restaurant, located in the Holiday Inn hotel, near the I-8 Freeway in Yuma. We went and dined there for Sunday brunch around 11 AM. Outstanding choice! The Burgers were customized cooked to our own ndividual preference, using Fresh meat, vegetables, and buns, garnished with the Restaurant's own tasty signature dressing. With excellent, cooked just right Onion Rings as a side dish. I am not exaggerating a bit when I say it was one of the BEST hamburgers I have EVER eaten! No comparison at all to what the Fast food franchises put out. The price was not bad for an excellent, satisfying meal- the "BT Boss" ($17)- and we can highly recommend Burger Theory to anyone looking for a custom-cooked,...
Read moreReally cool place. It's inside a nice looking Holiday Inn. We went at lunch time and there was a couple people at the bar so it was quiet and not busy . Chicken strip appetizer not great, mostly fried skin, not so much chicken & too salty, even for a guy that adds salt to most things before tasting it. Burgers & fries were great though. Burger cooked to our individual preferences and great taste. Our waitress was on it, super friendly and took our somewhat complicated order by memory(I mean we were worried when she walked away without writing anything down, but she got everything right). We're locals, not just a guest at the hotel so we'd eat there again. Very nice...
