This evening I attempted to order via the app to utilize the queso discount. For an hour the app was not working and loading. When I called the store and asked if I could place the order via phone and use the discount since the app was not working the manager told me no because they do not have that “comp.” When I asked the manager what I was to do since the app was not loading he then said “well if you try the website and it is still not working I can comp it.” I was using Bluetooth to call as I was on my way after work and was hoping to just drive through on my way home. I had to pull over and try to use the website. The app kept saying the code could not be applied even though I had an entree on the order. When I got to the store I went to the pickup and asked what I should do since the app nor website had been working up to that point and the drive through attendant told me “we are busy so we cannot take your order at the drive up. The doors are open so you can come inside.” I had my toddler with me, and in order to practice social distancing that was another reason why I wanted to do the order pick up at the window. I parked and decided to try the app one more time. It finally loaded and I was able to place my order at 5:13pm with the queso discount working, for the earliest pick up time available 5:30pm. I waited a few minutes to give them time to prepare the order before going to the window. When I got to the window they told me it was still not ready, and to park up front. No problem, it was not 5:30 yet I understood. 5:34 rolls around and I still have not received my order, so I call in and let them know. They curtly told me “we’re getting it made now” and hung up. I did not get my order until 5:40pm. Once I got home to enjoy my food that took entirely too long to prepare, they didn’t even put the queso on the bowl nor on the side, which was the whole point of me going today. I am extremely dissatisfied with...
Read moreI recently visited Chipotle in Yuma and had a great experience overall. I ordered both a burrito bowl and a burrito wrap to get a good taste of what they had to offer. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned, making it a satisfying meal.
Starting with the burrito bowl, I chose cilantro-lime rice, black beans, chicken, fajita veggies, mild salsa, corn, sour cream, and cheese. The chicken was well-seasoned and had a nice smoky flavor, while the rice and beans were cooked perfectly. The toppings were fresh, and the combination of the sweet corn salsa with the creamy sour cream and cheese made every bite delicious. The portion size was generous, and it felt like a well-balanced meal.
The burrito wrap was also great, though slightly on the heavier side. I went with barbacoa, brown rice, pinto beans, hot salsa, guacamole, and lettuce. The barbacoa was tender and packed with bold, savory flavors. The hot salsa added a nice kick without overpowering the other ingredients. The guacamole was creamy and fresh, though I did feel like they could have added a bit more. The tortilla was soft and held everything together well without falling apart.
The service was quick and efficient, even during a busy lunch hour. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was correct. The restaurant was clean, and seating was easy to find.
Overall, this Chipotle location in Yuma did not disappoint. The food was tasty, fresh, and filling. I’d definitely stop by again when I’m...
Read moreI've been a fan of chipotle for years, but this location was awful - I understand now the multiple negative reviews on their customer service.
Ordered a pickup mobile order for 3:40, and picked it up shortly thereafter. I get home, open the bag, and the order is not mine 😒 Receipt on front was correct, but completely wrong bowl on the inside for someone else named "Gabrielle". Drove ALL the way back to the store, explained the situation (mind you, never ONCE was I at all hostile or inconsiderate), and all this dude did was take the order i received wrongly, throw it in the trash, make me a new bowl, and hand it to me with no sense of empathy or even a simple apology. Hell, he should have let me keep the initial order as a token of apology, but instead threw perfectly good food in the trash, and doesn't even say anything that sounds remotely like they were sorry for the inconvenience. This location is a joke. The one by the Palms is...
