Firehouse Subs Big Curve — Restaurant in Yuma

I love the physical location, the art decor, but unfortunately their Pastrami sandwich was horrible. I was in a big mood for a pastrami sandwich, and was remembering those from the east coast and a few places in LA that have some good tasting ones. I took it up to Google and about the only place that I could find a restaurant that sold pastrami out here was at the Firehouse Subs. Now I had never been to this place before, but I really was excited about getting a pastrami sandwich. When I got there I was greeted by a friendly staff and while they prepared my pastrami sandwich I enjoyed the many memorabilia that they have inside, good firemen stuff here. Finally after a couple of minutes my name was called and I went to the counter for my pastrami sandwich. I immediately sat down and started unpacking my sandwich. Immediately I saw that they used a regular plain white sub bread. I was like okay, I’ve had some good ones in this fashion too. But nope, it just kept getting worse and worse. The meat? Bland. Not enough mustard, if any was inside. No cheese either. No dill pickles. Just a something sandwich stuffed with some mystery meat, a ton of shredded lettuce and tomato. I ate the sandwich because I was starving really, but it was such a disappointment for me in every single aspect. The sad part was that I REALLY wanted a good tasting pastrami sandwich, a decent one. I would have been willing to dump $50 on one if it was worth it. But this one…just a sad, sad, sad sub.

I have NOT been inside this location in particular but I can tell that from the restaurant's great view from inside out or the other way around you can tell that it is a very nice, clean and well taking care of restaurant. The decoration theme of this place has a lot to do representing the place and the name say it all. The theme is firefighter house, everything it's customized in color BRITE RED EXTINGUISHER, firefighter pictures all over the walls as decorations, the tables and chairs. Everything has to do with firefighters. They also own a HUMMER H2 in RED looking like a FIRE TRUCK parked outside the restaurant. Very cosy place. They specialized making Subs Sandwiches from scratch with nothing but fresh cold and warm meats and all kinds of fresh and crispy delicious variety of vegetables. The prices are a little high, but you pay for what you EAT. And what I mean by that is that you'll pay for nothing less that good food quality. And beverages. Nice environment, kids love the place and good place to bring the family over to eat healthy food and have fun asking employees working behind the food line how to make your favorite Sub Sandwich and your favorite refreshments to...

Went in today the 14th of June to order two subs to go for meand my wife so we could go out to the river alone and enjoy. one of the servers preparing our food was wearing a mask b ut kept it under her chin while she was preparing food and talking with another employee. we got our order but along with it it looks like we got a little attitude from her. Safety is a big issue right now and with the Corona virus and me being as old as I am I would sure enjoy going to a place that wants to comply with...
