La Pasiva — Restaurant in Montevideo

Most restaurants of the “La Pasiva” chain (which can be found almost everywhere around Montevideo, and other medium to large cities around the country) you will find a good assortment of the typical Uruguayan dishes, one of them being: “El Chivito”

It is difficult to really set the quality in general of these restaurants, as they will have quite a good representation of these dishes. You can of course find food specific restaurants which can be much better at each different dish, but this is a good place to try a bit of everything.

Food Quality: quite decent. The taste in general is quite good and you will normally not be disappointed.

Portions: very nice portions

Drinks: many options to choose from. If you would like something that is quite local, try the pomelo softdrink.

Price: $$ very good price/quantity value

Service: this chain is what is considered in a way a fast food restaurant, but healthier of course. The dishes come out super quick. And the staff is normally very friendly.

Atmosphere: the normal style is that of a diner. Simple tables and chairs. Ready for the quick wipe and sitting the next person.

Que desastre !!! Lástima estamos en la era de vender facturar a la marchanta y nada más . Pasa con muchos Servicios. Nada una simple muzzarela , un faina, una coca de 600 y un chaja . $ 473 bien no me quejo del precio. Pero Chan : me mandan el pedido por Pedido ya lo pedí . Me facturan todo y el chaja no está ! El repartidor no te soluciona nada . Bien es así el sistema de PYA. Ok comuníquese con ayuda en línea te dicen que lamentan y verán la solución . Busco teléfono PASIVA POCITOS y me pasan con CARLA la encargada ok me manda otra coca !!! Jaja otra vencida y fea !!! Llamo ya un poco enojada pero siempre con respeto y “la ENCARGADA CARLA QUE TIENE LA PASIVA POCITOS “ me dice “ Sra. Es imposible saber si están feas o vencidas no podemos abrir la botella antes de mandarle al cliente ...” ta entendí todo . Le tuve que explicar que los vencimientos están afuera y si le reclaman algo vencido y vuelve a mandar otra mínimo mire el vencimiento. Hoy vino un delivery de la Pasiva a cambiarme la coca por una bien ! El muchacho del delivery un Sr. que sabe hablar con un cliente . Con buena disposición de servicio y que le pediría al o los propietarios de esa Pasiva le den una oportunidad como encargado . Perdón Carla todos nos podemos equivocar pero tú no estás preparada para ese puesto . I stay very near to this restaurant and was keen on having dinner here from quite some time as I love the ambiance of this place. We ordered a lasagna and a pork dish and both of them were delicious.
