A Delightful Culinary Experience at Tannat - Parillada in Montevideo
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tannat - Parillada in Montevideo, not once but twice during my stay in the city. Each visit was a delightful culinary journey. The first time, I savored a 'parillada mixta', a mixed grill that was a true testament to the chef's prowess. The second time, I opted for a sumptuous Bife Steak accompanied by Morcilla (blood sausage), each dish cooked to perfection, as evidenced by the photos I've attached.
What struck me most was the pricing - surprisingly reasonable, especially compared to my experiences in Buenos Aires. Dining in Montevideo turned out to be much more wallet-friendly, nearly half the cost of what I'd spent in Buenos Aires. This was an unexpected revelation.
The service at Tannat - Parillada was exceptional - attentive, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. It greatly enhanced my dining experience, making me feel completely at home.
I wholeheartedly recommend Tannat - Parillada to anyone visiting Montevideo. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that...
Also einen Parkplatz hätte man bestimmt direkt beim Restaurant gefunden.
Walked to this restaurant from the hotel on Saturday (6:30pm)evening. So you would definitely have found a parking space right next to the restaurant. The waitresses are very friendly. They both speak English, but one better than the other one. I ordered a mixed skewer for one person with fries, salad, bread, wine and water. Then after an espresso. I won't order the bread(160UYU - 3,90Euro) with the cream next time. Bread was a bit old and the cream didn't taste that good for my taste. In addition, this is charged extra, which I don't like. The different types of meat on the skewer were very tasty and were also medium. Fries are crispy and don't taste after oil. The salad is kept normal, but the oil and vinegar that is served with it tastes very good. For 37 euros, given the amount of food and the quality, I can't say anything bad at all. I can only recommend the restaurant because it was delicious, the service is friendly and the price is right. I will definitely come...
