• THE BEST LOCAL* I often come to Da Nang for remote work. I discovered this charming little restaurant yesterday and couldn't resist giving it a try. After stopping by yesterday, I also had a delivery to my hostel today, and the food tasted just as good and fresh. (FIVE STARS)

Taste: Absolutely delicious. Not too salty, not too sweet, not too greasy. It's perfect. Price: Very reasonable considering the number of foreigners in the area, yet still aligned with local prices. Freshness: All the ingredients are kept in the fridge, and you can see them being cooked. The vegetables are exceptionally fresh and clean. Tissues: I didn't care much for the small table tissues usually provided, but this place offers proper tissues at each table, which is a nice touch. Cooking Process: The food isn't pre-made; it's prepared fresh from the fridge when you order, so it takes a bit longer, but it's well worth the wait. Owners: One of the two sisters speaks English. They are both hardworking and friendly.

Unfortunately, it's a real shame that I've only discovered this place just before I'm about to leave tomorrow, having stayed a short distance away for a month. This gem deserves to be known far and wide. I highly recommend it. It deserves more than 5 stars. Although it's not indoors, it's perfectly pleasant to enjoy your meal while overlooking the laid-back alleyways of Da Nang, even with the breeze from the owner's fan. Definitely worth a visit. I want to come every day on my next trip!! Oh, when ordering it from Grab Food, type "D1 Food Drinks".

The food is exemplary. The owners are lovely, but there persists the same issue time and time again regarding pricing and change...

This cafe is not cheap - it deserves not to be cheap because it's really excellent. If you're on a tight budget this cafe isn't for you. My personal bugbears are twofold:-

I've observed dozens of customers with issues when settling up.

Adding a significant and undocumented service charge during Tet, given no new staff were paid for, was the red line that means I'll never return. Had the service charge been communicated, things may have been different. I know at least 4 other foreigners who were outraged at your shameless and hidden profiteering.

You need to sort out your pricing and money handling processes. You need to be more culturally aware of the need for financial integrity. This isn't Pattaya in Thailand.

Their Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò — absolutely incredible and kept me coming back. The grilled pork is perfectly marinated and tender, the noodles fresh and light, and crispy spring rolls (chả giò) bursts with authentic Vietnamese flavors that really hit the spot.

The cook is genuinely skilled and passionate, clearly taking pride in every dish served. The restaurant itself is a great spot — clean, air-conditioned, and right in a convenient, easy-to-find location. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming and true to local traditions, without any touristy fluff.
