Five-Star Review for Nậm Cuisine Restaurant - Ẩm Thực Việt Nam
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nậm Cuisine Restaurant - Ẩm Thực Việt Nam, located at 126 Trần Bạch Đằng, TP Đà Nẵng, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. This charming restaurant was a chance discovery for me, and I decided to give it a try after noticing the lively crowd already seated for an early dinner around 19:20 on May 7, 2025. The bustling atmosphere immediately gave me a good feeling, and I’m thrilled to say that the experience exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, and I had the pleasure of being served by the sweet Miss Hai. What stood out immediately was her ability to communicate fluently in English, which made the ordering process a breeze for me as a non-Vietnamese speaker. She was incredibly patient and took the time to explain the menu, offering recommendations with a genuine smile. Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness truly enhanced my dining experience, making me feel welcomed and at ease.
The food at Nậm Cuisine was nothing short of spectacular. I ordered a few dishes to get a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and each one was bursting with flavor. The “Cá đĩa nướng” (grilled fish) priced at 180,000 VND was an absolute highlight – perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned with a delightful blend of spices that showcased the freshness of the ingredients. I also tried the “Cơm trắng (cơm nhỏ)” (small portion of white rice) for 10,000 VND, which was fluffy and paired wonderfully with the main dish. To top it off, I had the “Canh chua Cá Lóc” (sour fish soup) for 105,000 VND, which was a comforting bowl of tangy, aromatic goodness that left me wanting more. The total came to 295,000 VND, which I found to be incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a casual yet authentic Vietnamese vibe that made it the perfect spot for an early dinner. The crowd I had noticed earlier was a mix of locals and tourists, all enjoying their meals and adding to the lively yet relaxed atmosphere. It was clear that Nậm Cuisine is a beloved spot for many, and I can see why.
What truly made this experience memorable was the combination of exceptional food, warm service, and the overall vibe of the place. Miss Hai’s thoughtful service deserves a special mention – her ability to communicate in English and her genuine kindness made the evening even more enjoyable. I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit.
If you’re in Đà Nẵng and looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience, I can’t recommend Nậm Cuisine Restaurant enough. It’s a gem worth discovering, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. Five stars all the...
Read moreA Mixed Experience – Disappointing Second Visit We ate at Nam Cuisine twice, mainly because it was conveniently located right beside our hotel. Our first visit was actually quite enjoyable. I ordered the roast chicken with rice, and my partner initially ordered a fish dish. Unfortunately, they were out of fish, which can happen, so she switched to a noodle dish. Both meals were very flavoursome, and we left satisfied. However, our second visit told a very different story. This time, I ordered a noodle dish which was just okay. My partner chose chicken wings with a side of chips. When the chicken wings arrived, we were shocked—they barely had any meat on them. It was more like scraps you’d normally discard rather than serve to paying customers. We flagged down a server, showed her the menu photo, and pointed out that what we received didn’t match the image at all. She called over a man we assumed was the manager or someone senior. He insisted it was the same as in the picture, repeating "same same," which only added to our frustration. The comparison was clearly off, and it felt like we were being dismissed rather than heard. To make matters worse, the chips arrived after we had finished eating—and they weren’t very good either. We don’t go on holiday to be misled or treated unfairly, especially over something as simple as a meal. It’s disappointing when a business chooses to argue rather than resolve a customer's concern. Shame on you, Nam Cuisine. In today’s world, your reputation matters more than ever—and experiences like this can...
