The 1920's Lounge — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

Love this place: simply because it was perfect. Our friend’s birthday was today, and we asked if they had a cake (which they didn’t, but they were so nice and kind to help us get one outside). It was kinda cheap as well for the cake (thank you guys - it meant so much for us). And best of all they kept it a secret from our friend so well that we didn’t expect it at all. The band sang happy birthday to her and it’s super memorable. They offered to even help us cut the cake! The nice touch was that they asked for our friend’s name and got it customised on the cake (within 2 hrs they had a perfect cake, like, wow?!). They told us the price of the cake upfront so it wasn’t a shock to us.

The drinks were perfect. Old fashioned came in a beautiful glass bell jar containing smoke so it’s a nice touch and experience.

And when you thought it was all, they had professional photographers to capture the night so when you check back on their Facebook you have beautiful captures to keep.

They sang a 50/50 mix of English and Viet 1950s songs. Couldn’t understand Viet but it’s still enjoyable. Our night, Sway Band sung and their voices and music were top notch and highly professional.

Their Shisha experience was nice too, sweet and somehow it never ran out.

This is a live music bar near draogon bridge tail side.

It will open around 8pm but music performace will start from 9pm.

All staffs are kind and fully ready to serve, good attitudes.

Price is moderate, 200k to 500k for an one person, Not Enternace fee, I mean beverage or alcohole. It depends on what you want to drink.

Find Danag cathedral backdoor (usual enterance instead of main gate) Fine Neko Cafe from danang cathedral 1~2min by walk Further more 1min, there is a small signboard, 1920. Open Around 8pm but music performace will be start from 9pm.

In my humble opinion, more white lights toward stage from viewr to stage so that customers can take a picture easily.

If you like live music, This bar will be one of the best options in danang.

여기 라이브 뮤직바 정말 좋습니다.

물담배나 일반 담배를 하도 피워대서 그렇지 그것만 아니면 강력하게 추천합니다.

위치는 다낭대성당에서 6분정도 거리에 있고 저녁 8시부터 오픈합니다만 연주는 9시부터 시작합니다.

가격은 저렴한 편입니다 별도 입장료없이 주류가격이 다인데 1인당 200k~500k정도면 가볍게 즐길 수 있습니다.

혹시 다낭에서 라이브라를 찾으시면 여기가 정답에 가깝습니다

위치는 다낭 대성당 후문(정문 아님)에서 Neko Cafe쪽으로 가시고

그기서 좀더 가시면 1920이라고 작은 간판이 있습니다.

낮에는 문이 잠겨있으니 저녁 8시 이후에 가세요

Price: Cocktails are 200-230k

Pros: the jazz band was awesome. Everyone that came thought the same.

Cons: Cocktails are 200-230k but surprisingly the cocktails doesn’t come with glasses of complimentary filtered water. Instead they charge you a whopping 60k for that. Quite a penny pinching policy when people are already spending 200-230k per cocktail. Smoking is allowed in the venue, the ventilation is poor, and there’s no air purifiers to be seen, so the smoke hangs around and sticks to your clothes. You can see they are trying to cater to foreigners in this bar, but they don’t understand that in most of the home countries of these same people it is unusual and in fact forbidden to smoke indoors. For good reason - it negatively impacts the enjoyment and health of patrons who do not smoke, not to mention staff too.

Would I come back here? No. There are other cocktail bars that charge half the price, yet better quality and offer you complimentary filtered water. If a friend really wanted to hear live jazz I’d point them here but I would strongly hesitate...
