Daebak — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Excellent Korean dining experience. Staff do a nice job of grilling the meat. Banchan are tasty and plentiful, and the ssam are fresh and attractive.

Lived in Korea 9 years, had me a lot of K BBQ. There are few places I've found outside of Korea that really hit the same, but this one comes very close. All the elements are there, the kimchi was better than I expected, and the doenjang was solid enough. 항정살 is one of my personal cuts of choice, and it was thick and juicy here.

Two of us shared the middle-sized pork set, it was the perfect amount for us (we're not humongous eaters, so the OG carnivores may need a bit more).

Staff were kind, although English and Korean languages are a bit limited.

Menu is actually quite extensive; if I recall correctly, there was 김밥, 비빔밥, 장어, 곱창/막창, 전골, 순두부, 된장, 김치찌개, 구운 만두, 계란 말이, 구운 새우, 치즈 떡볶이, and more. No idea how some of these pretty untraditional bbq foods are, my instinct is to stick to meat and soup at bbq places.

Would definitely recommend to Koreans needing a taste of home or anyone wanting some nice K BBQ.

*No Korean beers, only local choices. 소주 limited to 참이슬 original and a bunch of fruity ones that are too sweet for this...

I had one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences of my life at this restaurant. While waiting for our food, my boyfriend and I witnessed the manager publicly berating a man who, as we later found out, had tried to order a large meal without being able to pay.

While I’m not excusing the man’s actions, the manager’s response was absolutely over the top and humiliating — yelling at him in front of a full restaurant as the man repeatedly slapped himself in shame. It was disturbing, upsetting, and completely inappropriate. We were so shaken by the scene that we asked for our food to go just to get out of there.

For a place that tries to present itself as upscale, the behavior from the staff was anything but. There’s a basic expectation of professionalism and human decency in hospitality, and this place failed miserably. I will absolutely not be returning — no meal is worth sitting through that kind...

Điểm cộng là panchan (đồ ăn kèm) rất phong phú và được refill miễn phí "tẹt ga" luôn nhé! "Cháy" hết mình với bếp nướng không khói: 🔥 Một điểm cộng nữa là hệ thống bếp nướng không khói hiện đại, giúp thực khách thoải mái thưởng thức đồ nướng mà không lo bị ám mùi. Nhân viên phục vụ nhanh nhẹn, nhiệt tình, luôn sẵn sàng hỗ trợ khách hàng. Giá cả hợp lý, trải nghiệm "đáng đồng tiền bát gạo": 💰 Mức giá ở Daebak khá hợp lý so với chất lượng đồ ăn và dịch vụ. Quán cũng thường xuyên có các chương trình khuyến mãi hấp dẫn. Kết luận: Daebak Lý Nam Đế là một địa chỉ lý tưởng để tụ tập bạn bè, gia đình, thưởng thức những món nướng chuẩn vị Hàn Quốc trong không gian thoải mái và sang trọng. Chắc chắn mình sẽ quay lại đây nhiều lần nữa! 👍 Tips: Nên đặt bàn trước khi đến, đặc biệt là vào buổi tối hoặc cuối tuần. Hãy thử món sườn bò tẩm gia vị - "best seller" của quán nhé!
