Thai Express — Restaurant in Hà Nội

We arrived here in a empty restaurant and order a beer for me & soft drink for my lady, wich was almost impossible since no one seemed to be able to talk english, when the beer arrived the (waiter) could not open it with a bottle opener so I did it for him. We order the honey chicken with rice and the chicken leg with two dipping sauces, within one minute the honey chicken was on the table cold inside and very small, the weight of the chicken was ~70gram including bones.

After complaint to the waiter he didnt do anything with it so I walked into the kitchen and confronted the cooks with the portion of the chicken and the fact its ice cold. No apologie no reaction, it seemed like they just didn't care. We didnt feel like eating anything from this moment and boiled from anger due to the mistreatment.

5 star atmosphere but 3 star food and service. The best-seller chicken rice hardly had any chicken, the beef salad appetizer was super spicy despite the prompt from our server to the chef to tone the spice down, it took a while to locate a server or staff to be within call distance (we should’ve used the call button) even tho we were two of four customers in the dining room. i dined here by chance immediately after spending several months in thailand. the food's mediocre, microwaved stuff from 7-11 is better. price is high for viet nam (around the same you'd pay at bkk). there are countless other thai places in the city, go to any of them instead. the main draw's for selfies/instagram/etc., "look at me, i'm at lotte!". aside from that, no, just no. service was good, but the place was also empty....
