This was the sleeper bus station café. Of course, we had to order something since we sat at their table. There was only one woman managing everything- she was the order taker, server, cook, and cashier all at once.

I’m not picky with food, but I saw how she prepared the sandwich- no gloves, handled everything with bare hands, even hugged the bread while sweating. We ordered the chicken banh mi, and honestly, it was the worst sandwich we’ve ever tasted. They called it “banh mi,” but the bread was tough and cold, there was only a single piece of lettuce, and one chewy stick of chicken.

It was such a waste of money-we ended up throwing it away because the texture and taste were unbearable. As for the coffee, it seemed like her fingers had dipped in it before serving. And worst of all, our food arrived just one minute before...
