Got a foot massage and nails done. So not satisfied with either - lacking attention to detail or just basic care.

For the massage, I had to tell the girl multiple times to apply pressure otherwise she was just feeling me up and she looked like she couldn't care less so I had to insist on swapping for another masseuse. Second girl was much better.

For the manicure, first girl was also not great - I had to keep telling her to fix the shape because it was so uneven. I got extensions done and because she kept needing to fix them, by the time the shape wasn't lopsided, the extensions were the same length as my natural nails!! Why in the world would I bother getting extensions if they end up being the length of my own nails?? Then she also didn't bother check the length with the other hand so length on my left hand is shorter than my right. I showed her the difference and while she did fix it, the second time it came out the EXACT same 🤦‍♀️ I didn't bother ask again because again she didn't care to compare the same finger between each hand. Now I have the nail on one hand visibly longer than the same finger nail on the other hand. The colour also wasn't what I asked for - she didn't care to check with me and got a much darker colour. After I pointed it out again (which by this point, I've had to point out so many obvious things I was pretty fed up), two other ladies took over and that was much better. They fixed the colour but it's still off between left hand and right hand, maybe because the two ladies each did one hand and the colour order was swapped around. They were great but still, too many things had gone wrong that shouldn't have in the first place.

Sat there for 2.5 hours - such a waste of time. I don't know why I have to tell the two first girls doing my nails and foot massage how to do their job. I shouldn't have to complain for the job to be done properly and at least decently. It was so ridiculous. It's literally the basics -...

In French, I would say « ni fait ni à faire ». Went for waxing after seeing the good grade on Google. I repeatedly told the lady I only wanted my upper lip done on my face and she went ahead and did my chin 😱 I considered leaving after that but really needed waxing and at this point, have figured out it is difficult to get good service anywhere in Hanoi (vs. Saigon which is awesome). So I gritted my teeth and went through the whole ordeal and left as quickly as I could. The end result is bad with absolutely no attention to detail. I still have lots of hair below my knees that I did not notice in my hurry to get dressed. The hygiene is awful and you are asked to lie on a table next to the shampoo tables - good thing I’m not particularly prude! It was super hot so the wax did not adhere properly and I had to tell the lady to put the AC on. I did ask for a discount considering my unhappiness with the uncalled for chin wax that they gave me without much discussion (half price on the face wax). Price scam, due to wrong advertisement outside. It mentions 200K for body massage and doesn’t mention it is based on 20 minutes! The massage lady inside the shop was arguing she informed me which she didn’t. They wanted to retrieve cctv to prove I was wrong which I wasn’t and it was never retrieved. As I insisted on talking to the owner, she ended up apologizing for the confusion and admitted the price doesn’t mention it is based on 20 minutes. There is a separate menu though which I didn’t see as I pointed out the advertisement outside to which they did NOT mention the appropriate time applicable. I was going to award 1 star but the professional and kind attitude of the owner, deserves at least 3 stars. The place itself is cleanish.
