Great location on a less noisier part of Hanoi but still close to Hoan Kiem lake. Lots of cafes, ATMs nearby, Uniqlo is also within walking distance if you need to buy clothes. I booked thru Agoda. The name is “Hanoi Elpis Hotel & Spa”. I booked a double deluxe with city view, a room with huge windows facing the main street. outside noise was dismal. I stayed on a weekend so I’m not sure if traffic is the same all throughout the week. The room looks new and felt clean. Day bed was comfy but had several stains but I wasn’t really expecting much. I slept comfortably. There’s no double lock on the door and no do not disturb signage, at least on the room where I stayed. Nevertheless, I felt safe. Coming here, I took bus 86 from Noi Ba international airport. Then, just walked for about 500 meters. Google maps provided excellent directions on where to get off from the bus. Service was excellent. Simon was ready to assist us in all ways as well as the employees who were ready to help when we have issues with the rooms. Rooms are clean, laundry is cheap and good. However, aircon might not be in the best condition and takes time to cool the room in hot Hanoi. Very prime location hotel close to many restaurants and attractions like the Opera House.

Rooms were clean for the most part but ours did have ants. Hot water and water pressure was very good.

Tried to book a Ha Long Bay tour with the front desk but the person struggled to explain differences for each type of package but they were very courteous.
