I want to take a moment to thank the hotel staff for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent communication. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable. Compared to other three-star hotels in Hanoi, this one stands out as top-notch in every way!
The location is perfect—right near Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, making it easy to explore Hanoi’s most famous attractions. It’s only a five-minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake and the area is surrounded by restaurants and street food stalls, so you can conveniently try authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to rest after a long day.
The rooms are tidy, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need. The hotel also provides complimentary water, special Vietnamese coffee, and other local treats, which is a thoughtful touch. What I appreciate most is their transparency with pricing—there are no hidden fees, which builds trust and shows great business ethics.
Another great thing about this hotel is that the price is very reasonable, especially for being in the center of the Old Quarter. You get great value for your money, which makes the stay even better!
I am traveling to Japan soon, but when we return to Hanoi for a day, I have already booked this hotel again because I loved it so much! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Read moreTold the staff we wanted to stay for three days. He said no problem but we need to wait awhile for the room to be prepared a room. The next morning they called us and told us the room we were staying in was reserved for another guest so they need us to move to another room….well ok. The price for that room was a little cheaper but not as nice. The next day as we are about to leave the hotel to spend our day in Hanoi the lady tells us we need to change rooms again. So she takes us to the room and shows us. It’s a little more expensive then the first two rooms and has an extra bed we don’t need but whatever. We just agree to it and we left the hotel. As we are half way down the street the lady runs after us and tells that they have no more rooms. How did their management go from telling us three nights was ok to us switching rooms each day and then not even having the last night available for us…
Pay the little extra money to stay at the Shining hotel down the street. The service and rooms was 100 times better for only a...

This place is really well located, walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and all other parts of town.||||I booked the airport pickup service and even though I was delayed in Visa processing the driver waited and then showed me where to get a cheap SIM card. Excellent service. The return trip was quick and efficient.||||The front desk staff were excellent, offering advice and directions, booking my day trip to Ha Long Bay and getting my washing done.||||There is an elevator, free WIFI and a good buffet breakfast (included with my booking) on the lower ground floor.||||My room (302) was nice, but the bed was so just too hard so I asked for another room. I was upgraded with no fuss the next night to the honeymoon suite (401) with a round bed that was much more comfortable.||||The bathroom was nice with okay towels and toiletries. The room had a fridge, kettle and daily water bottles. The TV even had a few English movie channels.||||I highly recommend this...
