We were lured down a picturesque lane way hoping to escape the heat when we found ourselves in a piece of paradise. Instantly seated and we were presented with a complementary icy cold very weak green tea while we decided what to order. I have to admit green tea is not a drink I take kindly to but this tea was absolutely perfect. We ordered a coconut coffee, which had a frozen coconut crust, which my daughter said was the most delicious drink she’d had in all Vietnam. I had a cappuccino which was exactly as ordered, not easy to achieve in Vietnam and elsewhere) and if not the best then it was way way up there and one of the best. When we finished our drinks we were again offered a cool green tea; a wonderful and safe alternative to unboiled tap water. On using the amenities before we left, definitely recommend you check them out, I made the wrong turn in to the kitchen which was the cleanest kitchen imaginable. We’ll definitely be back but next time we’ll have a meal with our drinks. The mother and son who run the cafe/restaurant speak very good English and are beautiful people. Don’t miss this...
Read moreWhether you just really need a coffee, or you just really need to get off your feet and out of the tourist crush, you couldn't ask for a better location. You will see many people taking the Instagram street photo of this alleyway. Be bold.. Walk in.. Head to the back of the alley and you will find Hoi An Coffee Hub. Funky flavorful coffee drinks - many Vietnamese with a tasty twist. I tried both the Salt coffee and a non-coffee alternative the handsome and fun barista brewed up for me that is currently off-menu. The iced versions have nicely frothed cream at the top giving a nice two-tone presentation and a deliciously creamy drink once you stir them together. The salt coffee had a sharper finish to each sip. The non-coffee drink vết son dại khờ uses the same creamy froth to make one of the most delicate strawberry smoothies you will ever sip. Decorations are eclectic to say the least, the music is hip and nostalgic, and the art gallery as you walk in has local...
Read moreBeautiful hole in the wall cafe for relaxing. Being away from the main street gave the entire place a sense of tranquility and escape. We ordered some spring rolls, avocado toast, iced salty coffee, salty matcha, and the traditional iced coffee. The food is delicious and freshly cooked. The salty beverages were not up to our taste and the attentive cafe staff / owner noticed and came up to us twice to check and offered to replace with new drinks. We finally relented to have a replacement drink on the second time they ask. Stellar customer service, with warm and friendly staff! Highly recommended you make a trip here and soak in the...
