Great food. Loved the environment. We were challenged by Hoi An restaurants after Hanoi. Food not as good but much more expensive. Then we found Wooden House. (We May have even allowed a kiddo a bit of rice wine with the owner.) Very friendly. Fun. Great food. Kiddos had pizzas (sometimes you need a pizza). I loved Wooden House Cafe & Restaurant. The atmosphere was very attractive and inviting. I had Cao Lầu and White Rose Dumplings. Cao Lầu is made with yellow noodles, marinated pork slices, local greens, wonton type croutons in a rich pork broth. It is only made in Hoi An. The dumplings were small shrimp filled and steamed. A wonderful casual restaurant -a real family feel... good food with good prices- surprisingly quick in service delivery and really fresh... we enjoyed white rose dumplings, morning glory with garlic and tofu spring rolls - with a g&t and a ginger tea thrown in the bill was 260 vnd (a touch over $30 aud)...
