This is my 7th stay at Hadana Boutique Resort Hoi An (formerly Belle Maison Resort and Spa). I LOVE this resort for the following reasons: The location to the Ancient Town is fantastic. You can walk or use a complimentary bicycle. The management & staff at the resort are so customer service oriented. They are kind and thoughtful. You arrive as a guest and leave feeling like you are a member of the Hadana family. There is nothing that they won’t do to ensure you have a memorable stay in the resort and in Hoi An. The resort itself is spectacular! The property is perfectly manicured and maintained. The pool is large and beautiful with loungers for suntanning and relaxing. It’s truly an oasis to return to after exploring Hoi An. The hotel has a first class spa - “Maison Spa Hoi An”. The body massages and facials are superb. The promotion of “Buy 1 get 1 Free” was fantastic! Personally, I love having a spa at the resort I’m staying at because I like to have a massage before going to bed. It helps me get over jet lag,and to sleep like a baby. “Rice Restaurant” is amazing! The daily breakfast is fresh & delicious. There is a wide range of Asian & Western food... in other words, there is something for everyone. I have also enjoyed the hotels room service in the evening and their Saturday night BBQ. It is an incredible feast… come hungry! The room I stay in is perfect for me. It’s large and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool. It has a very comfortable king size bed with white sheets & a deep bathtub/ shower combo. It’s cleaned to perfection daily by the lovely and kind housekeeping team.
In closing, thank you to my entire Hadana Boutique Resort Hoi An family for another amazing stay. You are simply the BEST ❤️
In closing, I highly, highly recommend this resort. It’s the perfect place to stay, in the perfect Ancient town - Hoi An,...
Read moreEvery now and then you stumble upon a true hidden gem. On our recent holiday to Vietnam, my wife and I stayed at the Hadana Boutique Resort in Hoi An, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip.
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made us feel like old friends. A special mention has to go to Ngan, who was nothing short of brilliant. She went out of her way to offer tips on where to eat and what to see, and even helped us with travel arrangements that made exploring Hoi An and the surrounding area a breeze. Her genuine friendliness and local knowledge added so much to our stay.
The resort itself is beautiful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a lovely modern bathroom — the perfect place to retreat to after a day of wandering Hoi An’s lantern-lit streets.
Breakfast deserves a shout-out too. Each morning we tried a different local dish, and everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. It’s such a great way to start the day and to sample the local flavours without leaving the hotel.
We also had spa treatments include massage therapy which were an affordable treat.
And then there’s the bar — a real surprise. The cocktails here are outstanding, the sort you’d expect in a big-city hotel rather than a boutique resort. We often found ourselves stopping in for a drink before heading out at night.
All up, Hadana Boutique Resort is a true hidden gem in Hoi An. If you’re looking for somewhere welcoming, comfortable and with a touch of local charm, I can’t recommend it...
Read morePros: Good location Excellent facilities and good presentation with a very chic foyer and bar Clean swimming pool Huge plus - free bikes for hire
Cons: Poor service and lack of professionalism for 4 star hotel. Took several prompts before fromt desk issued us receipts for services rendered. Perhaps due to language barriers we were given incorrect information about surrounding attractions.
More importantly (and I'm sure this was unintentional) at times we felt harassed by hotel staff who were very persistent in striking conversation and near impossible to deter. During breakfast I had two staff approach me seperately for 10minute conversations asking personal information (from where I was born, my age, my relationship with travel companion, why I chose to travel with them (parents) and not my partner, whether I had children, what my partner thought of me travelling with my parents etc etc); with the same pestering approach taken later when trying to relax by the pool. After the third or fourth round of repeated questioning I was becoming slightly irate at which point the staff noted that I "looked very tired" but would not leave until a further 5 minutes of asking me why i felt tired and only after I asked to be left alone.
My last encounter was a staff asking me to write a review for the hotel "now" so she can see, which I point blank refused to.
Overall, has the potentials of a great hotel, but can definitely do with more...
