Bún Chả Hồ Gươm | Bún Chả Ngon Quận 3 — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I wanted to try Bun Cha. I remember that I used to frequent this restaurant before Corona. The place was full of customers again today, and I was lucky to get one of the last tables. I was satisfied with Bun Cha, which I wanted to eat at a reasonable price. For the first time, I tried deep-fried Pho? I tried a dish similar to Nagasaki Sara Udon in Japan. It was the first time for me to try such a dish with crunchy noodles. I thought more sauce would be better. I ate it with Bun Cha sauce on the way. I am not sure if this is the right way to eat it. All in all, the price is 60,000vnd. Considering it is a restaurant in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, it is cheap...

Lunch here with a friend today. Generally tasty. The Sweet Potato and Shrimp fritters were the best item in my opinion.

The Bun Cha Hanoi and the fried crab spring rolls were good if not spectacular.

My sugarcane juice has a little too much ice so after a few minutes, it felt a little diluted. Still, I like the “Vietnamese Way” of taking sugarcane juice with a squeeze of fresh lime juice into the drink. Refreshing.

Subsequent visit in June 2022: Had a bowl of Bun Bo Hue - very good! The broth was full flavoured and noodle had a good texture. Only item that was less than perfect was that the beef slices were slightly tough. Still, a yummy...

The food was OK (nothing special), but the service was really terrible. They were completely annoyed from the beginning, almost didn't speak a word towards us. All four staff ladies had a dinner together (!) and looked very angry that I'm disturbing them when I wanted to pay. Well, I'm sorry I came to this restaurant and you had to work...
