Banana's Juice Shop — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

What a fascinating experience, to sip on their fruit smoothies and observe local children in the school across the street - running in circles during their break time.

I was glad to see that this place had many regulars - they were so busy the first time I visited, sending out boxes of pre-orders during lunchtime.

Helpful that the menu was in English with the prices clearly stated. (25VND-40VND depending on the combination of blends).

I revisited this place a few times because it made a strong impression - the kind of family business with miniature seating area without fuss or frill, with local clientele that smiled at me when they saw my greedy purchase of multiple cups.

This place has become a daily stop for me during my 12-day stay in Saigon. 100% fruit smoothies with no sugar or ice added at perhaps the lowest prices in D1 for such smoothies!

I usually get mango-passionfruit or mango-avocado; I suppose I'm rather unadventurous.

I love that they are open late. It's nice to be able to go somewhere and have a drink outside at night that isn't coffee or alcohol. And as a place to hang out and people-watch, Banana's is a lot chiller than Five Boys...

I've gone a few times - the smoothies are quite tasty. They cost 40 to 70000 Vietnamese Dong. The quality seems nice. They even add fruits on the top - everything is great, the environment is very friendly. There's lots of people at this shop.
