A nice, cosy little cafe that doesn't have its own sign board (note it isn't Prem Bistro). We ordered 3 drinks - black tea lemonade, macchiato and a mango lassi.
Ordered with the expectation that black tea lemonade is made with real lemon juice, but it isn't, it is made using syrup and tasted artificial. Macchiato didn't live up to expectations too as coffee flavour is faint, and secondly would have preferred for it to be served a little warmer as I dislike coffee that is neither hot or cold but somewhere in between but more to cool side. Mango lassi is blend and didn't taste like yogurt has been added and most importantly it is lacking in mango flavour.
Giving a 3-star here just based on the drinks we ordered, do note that we haven't tried the cakes and breads and other items on the menu.
Other than the drinks, the ambience is great, would make a nice place to chill or just catching up...
Read moreThe first time I had visited this coffee shop left me with really good impression. However, on my second visit it was very disappointing. What was more blood boiling was that they had served us cold drink latte after waiting for over half an hour. We really wanted to walk out if only we did not pay first. We will never go back here again. But I believe that customers will get different experiences. On the other hand, the coffee shop ambience inside was pretty mellow with some classic decoratives. The first time I visited the place, the server was able to communicate well in English since my Vietnamese is still an...
Read moreI decided to come and sit still here after a job interview at a company close to Kafka. This is my second time at Kafka. Last time I promised a friend to review, then I was not in a mood. My purpose this time is to make my promise. I’m sitting at the bar, sipping my matcha, reading Trở về - a journal around the world of a volunteer, and also memorizing and writing about my latest meaningful journey to Măng Đen. I don’t have a good sense of taste to describe the drinks but I love my matcha. I love the Kafka’s atmosphere as well. All the tables are full today, everyone is talking, not very quiet as I expected, however I still find my private time and enjoy my...
