We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us almost immediately. They were very polite and did try to seat us as fast as possible. The we made our order and requested our drinks as soon as possible while waiting for the food.
The food came at very different times. The spring rolls and fried rice arrived after 15 mins. I must say, the food was awesome. Especially the rice. The portions were not big enough for the price they charge but that's subjective. Maybe it was so tasty? Or we wanted more due to hunger? But, in comparison to similar resteraunts, it wasn't enough.
My order took an additional 15 mins which was pork ribs. We had to ask if they had forgotten by accident or something? Which I think they did to be honest. Because 30 mins from from order to serving doesn't make sense for a small portion of ribs. I will consider language barrier and maybe I didn't exain properly but pointing at the picture surely doesn't require language.
Regardless, my order arrived and was very hot and tasty. But, I was now eating by myself as I begged my wife to eat her food and not to wait for me. To go for a dinner date, and eat at different times is terrible service in my opinion. It kinda ruined the dinner date.
Besides that the host was very nice, the food was good and venue is beautifully decorated.
Negatives: slow serving and seated at the entrance. But, we had no reservation so couldn't ask for a different table. However we watched a two tourists walk in how said they had no reservation and were seated at the table that we would have enjoyed a lot more. That was annoying. Clearly, two American tourists are higher priority to me and my Asian wife.
Verdict: Will we be back? No
Would I recommended it? Yes, for groups of 4 - 6 people.
Regret trying it out? No.. It was good food served my nice people in a nice venue. But, it would have been better if I didn't have ro wait 30 mins for ribs watching my wife eat. And then she watched me eat. Not how I think a dinner date should be. Worst part? American tourists (2) were treated much better than us. Which pissed me off the most. Apparently they accommodate white people over...
