We were walking past the restaurant and decided to check out the menu outside. The manager approached us and encouraged us to give their food a try. We ended up ordering Chicken Biryani, Sweet Lassi, Veg Noodles, Golgappe, and a beer. The Chicken Biryani was definitely tasty. However, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The Sweet Lassi was extremely sour, noodles were below average and not Indian taste at all and the Golgappe were the worst we’ve ever had. When we gave our feedback to the manager, he acknowledged the issue and mentioned the head chef was off for the day, which is concerning. If you’re running a restaurant, there should always be someone equally capable in the kitchen, especially when customers are paying for the food. While he didn’t charge us for the Golgappe since we didn’t eat them, the overall food experience left us very disappointed. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreVery unprofessional. I ordered their food from grab and I never give reviews but can’t stop because of their unprofessionalism.
I ordered Bhindi Masala. Hakka noodles. masala papad and 3 butter chapatis
They didn’t have bhindi so they messaged and asked if they can give paneer instead. But I don’t eat paneer so I asked if they have Aloo ghobhi instead.
But They didn’t bother to check the message and gave shahi paneer. Seems like someone left it. So they gave it to us.
No sense of packaging. Masala papapd was put together and the papad got soggy and is not crunchy anymore. What’s the point of papad if it’s wet. Could have packed the masala and papad separately. But no.
Ordered butter chappati and gave it with no butter. I even paid extra for that.
Why gave 2 options when you are going to give plain chapati only.
Very disappointed Order first and last time Had to throw most...
Read moreThis place has quietly become my weekday lunch reward spot. The chicken tikka masala is excellent in a way that makes you feel briefly like a better, more put together person for having ordered it. The jeera rice is fine, not life changing, but perfectly happy to be there next to the tikka, which is the real star. The room is A/C cooled and unpretentious, not “date night fancy,” but comfortably nice, with the weird little grace note of a painting of a raccoon smoking a cigarette in the bathroom, which somehow makes the place feel more human and less like a set piece. Service has been consistently kind and accommodating. They even check in to make sure you really meant to order just chicken tikka without rice. Prices feel fair. It has never been crowded when I go, which makes it feel...
