I came here Tues 22/7/25 around lunch time.
Location/Scene: Its location at the corner of two roads makes it easy to spot. I thought that the design of the store--from the facade, and peaks of the baked goods inside, was so appealing and attracted me to go in, even though I'm not a huge fan of baked goods. There was a manageable crowd of both locals and foreigners.
Baked goods: They have an extensive array of baked goods and pastries, from baguettes and matcha pastries to tarts and rye bread, as well as cakes and gifts. The breads are really affordable (at least comparable to Singapore). I got a Matcha Chocolate Cream Bun for about 29000VND which was freshly made, delicious, not too sweet, and generous in filling. I didn't buy much so can't say much, but from looking at the other customers, they bought a lot! Many of them bought the baguettes!
Service: The service was excellent--efficient. One of the staff members spoke really good English, was friendly and polite.
Final thoughts: If you're looking to try some good baked goods here in HCMC, Tous les Jours is the place to go. I think it's quite rare in HCMC to find such a bakery (at street areas, that is not inside a mall). The variety is great, the prices are affordable, the taste is delicious and not too sweet. They do have several outlets and guess what, I went back again the next day! But to another outlet which has generous seating area. I'm definitely coming back here again whenever...
Read moreTOUS les JOURS has become one of my favorite bakeries in Vietnam. I first tried them in Hanoi and was excited to see multiple locations across Ho Chi Minh City as well. They offer a variety of beautifully crafted pastries, from their signature ribbon pies to the soft and flaky 32 layered tissue bread available in plain and matcha. Everything is well presented and feels fresh from the oven.
They also have a great selection of cakes, both classic and creative, I spotted fruit topped sponges, chocolate ganache, and even a fun bear-shaped cake in the display fridge. It’s hard not to be impressed by the visual appeal. Whether you’re after something sweet or savory, you’ll likely find something that suits your mood.
The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with an upstairs seating area that’s quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a coffee and pastry. Staff were friendly, and despite the steady flow of customers, service was efficient.
I love starting my day with one of their buttery croissants or a jumbo ribbon pie, paired with a coffee. This bakery is definitely worth visiting if you’re in town and enjoy quality baked goods.

Read moreTLJ is my favourite bakery in town but the experience I had today (24/6/2017 at 12.25 hr) at their 53 Tran Hung ĐẠO Q1 branch will make me think twice before I go there again. After picking 4 items including a large baguette I queued up behind a Western gentleman at the register for my turn to pay. The gentleman bought a loaf of bread (unsliced) and while the item is being packed he asked "can you cut" and the cashier (NC0011) responded politely with " you mean slice" and follow-up with a "thank you" and a smile. So far, perfect customer service. When it was my turn, as I have a long way to travel so I requested the baguette to be cut up to fit in the bag but she cut it in a way that half the bread is outside. I asked (politely) for an extra bag to cover the other end, instead she used the knife to cut the bread while it was still in the bag. And during the whole period not a single word coming from her. I am not too concerned about the lack of a sorry, a smile or a thank you but I do expect a certain degree of service as a customer May I ask the management of TLJ in VN and the parent company in Korea is that a company policy to profile customers and to apply different sets of customer service...
