RuNam d'Or — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The place is a marvel with elegant and classic French interior. The outdoor seating is also wonderful like a patio or garden. Foods are really good. Prices are high and expensive which is actually compensated with the portion of every serving. But it would be nice to have smaller portion options for a bit of an average price. The coffee here is good. As I mentioned, the place is really nice but with the amount of crowd especially in the afternoon, it kinds of ruins the ambience. I mean, it has this romantic and dim lighting inside with a not so vast space, so having so much people makes the inside a bit stuffy and noisy for the ambience. At least that’s how it goes at noon, so basically the outside is a good option except it might be hot. Let’s go to the service. They have this kind of like a host that welcomes you from the moment you stepped in which is very classy. But then again, there service inside is a bit slower than I expected. Although there are a few waiters and waitresses you could see rushing here and there, you have to keep on calling and waiting for someone to come whenever you need something. It also takes a real while to get anything you need. But I must say their staff are nice, polite and professional. Just need to work on efficiency I guess. All in all, this place is the best RUNAM...

Been here 2 years ago, didn't like it, this time it is totally different, the decoration has improved a lot, food also is much tastier, the spaghetti has real Italian cooking style, has been told that the cook has been study in Italy, no wonder!! Love it, will go back tonite, like the place so much, warning, u'll have to pay for all above but it worth it

Went to Runam D'Or again the next day with our friends, to introduce them the place, they love the location, decor and food Lov the black spaghetti the on FRI so Order it again but with scallop this time, so tasty with quality scallops. Lov it Order also the French onion soup, looks n taste so nice Same thing for the banana ice cream, well decorated 🤩and tasty😋 Recommended and big thx to Tim the manager who took care of the guest so well

Dec 2021 went to the place again after lock down Quality has not change, food is good, dishes nicelly decorate, i have add some new pics really...

I have been to other Runam, but this location is the first time. Arrival around 11am. It was crowded but there were still some tables left. No waiters or waitress came to take care of us after we got to the table. I had to ask for the menu, then wait for a while for the “manager” to come and ask what we wanted.

The drinks came out longer than I expected when it was just two easy drinks. Also the food as well. The taste is meh, and the deco for the food is quite dissatisfied compared to the Taka Runam especially since the price this location is higher by about 5-10%.

The waitress got my bill, and asked me if we used the cold/wet tissues, so she could charge us. it was ridiculous to me. They didnt even remember if they gave wet tissues for us. The service is not that good enough to be charged for
