Absolutely amazing! This is hands down the best experience we had. This cute little restaurant on the busy party road is fantastic. Mom and son do their absolute best to give you the utter most enjoyable experience. Mom stands on the busy street with the most genuine and sweet smile, despite facing so many serious and sometimes annoyed people, she mannages to keep her beautiful smile. And the son is in the restaurant making sure you have the best experience you can have. Constantly checking is your food is okay, refilling your water, etc… not to mention the food itself. We had the chicken 65 with a beautiful green sauce on the side as a starter on reccommendation of the son. It was amazing. So were the chicken Vindaloo and the chicken Tikka Masala. Absolute Gem of Indian Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City Taj Mahal Restaurant and Hotel, located conveniently on Bui Vien walking street, offers best of Indian Sub-continental food at very pocket friendly prices. We had a dinner at this same restaurant for consecutive 3 nights. We tried multiple dishes during our stay in Saigon. All dishes were absolutely yummy and tasted same like dishes in India. All food is Halal. Prices are very very affordable. Even if you are tight budget trip, you can definitely consider this restaurant for taste and price as well. Cherry on the top is hospitality of owner lady. The lady was so much eager to welcome the tourist and serve them best dishes along with his son. Dishes recommended Chicken Biryani, Dal Khichdi, Egg Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Mix Vegetable Curry

Must visit if you are in Ho Chi Minh...

It’s a overhyped restaurant. The service is ultimate but the food is pathetic. It’s purely a north Indian restaurant. It’s not a South Indian’s cup of tea. The oil they use is something local and which South Indians never use.Being cult South Indian foodie, I couldn’t consume the food from this restaurant and due to the oil, next day I didn’t keep well. If you’re a South Indian food lover please avoid this place.

Please don’t try to make me guilt trip by showing South North sir. I’m very sure on my feedback. As i said, you’re service is ultimately amazing but food is something I didn’t like and it spoiled my tummy and made me lose one day from my 10days trip to Vietnam.
