The Coffee House — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Previous review from 2018 (5 🌟): The best coffee in Saigon, major chain or not. Yes, I have been everywhere in this city and use the caphe sua da as the gradient. So good that sipping is mandatory. Their hot western coffees are also perfect. The downside: a little pricey and the noise factor tends to be overwhelming. Otherwise, a good spot to hit once or twice a month.

Update 11/27/20: within the span of one week, the coffee has gone from exceptional to flavorless. Upon asking the staff why the caphe sua da tasted like water, they replied "our manager made us change the formula." There was little coffee to be found nor sweet milk. Unacceptable and not a good idea when Cong Caphe is taking...

The chain is everywhere . Noisy and just okay drinks, the dessert are also forgetable. The design of the place is decent but always crowded so you cannot enjoy it at all. It is more suitable for the youngster and student. I do not like their drink just visit sometimes if my friends want to meet there. Service is improving. They have so many stores that it is convenient to visit if you do not care much about good drinks...

Great menu, staff is excellent here. I do wish The Coffee House carried vegan nut milks and decaffeinated coffee but even with those behind the times limitations I still give this place a 5. Indoor parking around the side of the building in the alley. Multiple floors as the ground floor only has room for a single table. They have an outdoor smokers area upstairs that is separated from the non-smoking area by double...
