Our recent culinary adventure learning to cook Vietnamese food was nothing short of extraordinary. The experience was a delightful journey into the heart of Vietnamese cuisine, offering something for everyone with its bountiful choices of dishes. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and hospitality set the tone for a memorable day. Their extensive knowledge of their own cuisine was impressive, and their enthusiasm for sharing it was contagious. They guided us through each step of the cooking process with patience and expertise, ensuring we felt confident and engaged throughout the class. The selection of dishes available for us to choose from was remarkable. Whether you are a fan of savory pho or crispy spring rolls, there was a dish to suit every palate. Each ingredient was fresh and vibrant, showcasing the rich flavors and textures that Vietnamese cuisine is celebrated for. One of the highlights was the interactive nature of the class. We didn't just follow recipes; we learned about the cultural significance and history behind each dish. This deeper understanding enriched our appreciation of the food we were preparing and eating. After cooking, the best part was, of course, indulging in our creations. The flavors were incredible, and the sense of accomplishment added an extra layer of satisfaction. It was a feast for both the senses and the soul. To top it off the egg coffee was amazing for the first time. We highly recommend this cooking class to anyone on holiday. It’s an experience that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also provides a meaningful connection to the local culture. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn, cook, and savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

I recently dined at this Pho restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The pho was absolutely delicious – the broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced with tender noodles and fresh, aromatic herbs. Each bite felt comforting, and the portion size was generous, leaving me fully satisfied. The service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. They were quick to offer suggestions, ensuring we got the best of what the menu had to offer. Our orders were served promptly, and the team made sure everything was to our liking, all while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious pho with top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon! - From Philippines

This is a TRUE review of this restaurant as the reviews are absolutely deceiving. First off, the price of this establishment for the quality and quantity of food is blasphemous. The dishes either had no flavor or it was extremely salty. We got the catfish wrapped in banana leaf and it was extremely overpriced and fishy. There was a review that called the rice paper cardboard and they were right. It was extremely hard to the point where my jaw started hurting. The chicken curry had no flavor or seasoning. It tasted like an instant packet you could get at the store. The mango salad was decent, I'd give that a try but the portion is for a 5yr old. The cheese fried rice with pineapple tasted like nothing. Lastly, the lemon grass beef was just salty. There was no other flavor to it. I can't say the staff were not friendly but not the best. The environment was nice, it was clean and comfortable. Overall, I would avoid this place at all costs as there are so many great places to eat in HCMC. Do NOT let the reviews trick you into coming here.

Location is ideal - just near by Ben Thanh market , maybe that's why the price a bit pricey. The taste of foods is so so , not that very great but it's ok . However, the food decoration quite eye - catching. Sang - the waiter was quite helpful and friendly. In the two dishes i ordered, the taste of Mango Salad is better than the Vegan Pho ( the broth is like almost no flavor - perhaps suitable to those don't like salty). I tried to order Coconut coffee, unfortunately the waiter said that they couldn't serve because the Bartender/ Barista was not there 😅. Sometimes the noise from the back ( kitchen ) affected to the customer zone, suggest that the staff shouldn't talk or call each others so loud, that's would be better to create an good impression. Another point: toilet is at upstair, so don't really encourage for those who have joint pain problems.

Being our 25th wedding anniversary, I really wanted to take my wife somewhere where we could have great food. Seeing the reviews, I thought Tung fit the bill. Unfortunately, we were to be deeply disappointed. I ordered the beef with green & red peppers. My food was room temperature at best - flavours were ok, but it should have been hot. My wife ordered the beef & lemon grass. It came on what appeared to be a sizzling platter - but it wasn't. Again flavours were ok, but nothing to wow us. The starter we ordered were the spring rolls. Now they were awesome. The strawberry smoothy was more like a milkshake & again, it was ok We are left very deflated & also wonder how Tung has managed its 5 star rating. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day today.

My first night in Saigon after 2 days of constant travelling and this place was the perfect restaurant to start off my holiday! Food was amazing - I always get Bún Chả as my go to and the presentation and quality of meat is very good and fresh. Morning glory stir fried in garlic is always a go to and there version was seasoned wonderfully, with a hint of sweetness. Nothing was too spicy nor drenched in too much seasoning. Also had a lemon tea and fresh orange juice and you can will always get freshly squeezed juices here in Vietnam. Team ZX was amazing and extremely and attentive, more that you can say back home in London. Picked this restaurant out randomly out of 100s and I highly recommend it. Also the staff are multilingual which is amazing.
