I had a terrible experience at Bacio. Upon arriving, I asked for a menu and selected a beer priced at 69 Dong—overpriced, but I was willing to pay for the view. Shortly after, the waiter approached me and said the beer would actually cost 100 Dong. When I asked why the menu said 69 Dong, both he and the staff laughed and smiled, clearly enjoying the situation. It was obvious they were trying to overcharge me simply because I’m a foreigner from a first-world country.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. It’s not just dishonest, it’s insulting. Management needs to take action and fire these workers who are scamming customers and likely pocketing the extra cash.
After walking out, I read other reviews and saw numerous complaints about how awful the food is as well. This place seems to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
If management truly cares about their reputation, they can contact me directly to make this situation right. However, I doubt they will, as it seems like the entire operation is geared toward scamming people. Buyer beware—stay far away...
Read moreI have to be honest that this is the worst place i have visited so far in Phu Quoc. The food was horrible, super dried fried chicken, definitely frozen pizza with mushroom on top With the stunning view, I expected it should be a fine dining restaurant, but even it not deserved to be called a fast food kiosk. Even food at Vuifest Market is much much better than here. Service is zero because it is pay at the counter, lack of service at all. Kids runnning and screaming around, jumping on the sofa and the staff just standing at the counter and starring at them. Only good thing is the different view to see the fireworks, but idiot staff even ruined it by turn on the light at the restaurant while the fireworks hasn’t finished yet. Wasted 500k for a dinner whereas it should be a romantic dinner for us. Never...

We had high hopes for Bacio but left extremely disappointed. We ordered seafood pasta and fettuccine with salmon, confirming our order with the waitress three times. After a long wait, we were served bland pasta with no sauce—completely unappetizing. My husband was so upset that he didn’t even eat his meal.
To make matters worse, when we checked the bill, we noticed they had charged us for crab fettuccine instead of the seafood pasta we actually ordered. This mix-up, combined with the poor quality of the food, completely ruined our day.
We expected much better service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, we won’t...
