LAGOON BBQ & VIETNAMESE CUISINE — Restaurant in Phú Quốc

One of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. The little food for a lot of money was not even mediocre. For 5 people we got three menus, of which the food on one of the menus was not available. When I wanted to choose a drink from the other menu, it was not available either. We were the only 5 guests in the restaurant, and three waiters failed to serve the last (almost all ice) of our 5 drinks before the bill, despite being there for an hour. We could not eat together as each dish came separately. My spaghetti carbonara was nicely plated, but unfortunately just tasted greasy and boring. The prices were salty, not like the food. The communication was very difficult. My drink was missing the jelly that was advertised on the menu. The setting would be nice if the interior didn't ruin it. I rarely write bad reviews, but here just nothing fits. If more than half is unavailable and you can't maintain the standards you want to convey, then the local shouldn't open at all on days like this. But I can't really imagine it being any better at other days.

The food here is overpriced for what you get. The chicken burger, for example, comes with a large thigh piece that still has a thick skin and is almost inedible. But honestly, the bigger issue wasn’t even the food—it was the complete lack of hospitality.

Our friend's baby had an accident and dirtied their shorts, which the staff clearly saw since we were the only ones outside. When we politely asked if they had a plastic bag so we could pack the pooped shorts, they told us they didn’t have any (we explained and asked several times if they could ask/look again). Knowing that probably wasn’t true, I then asked to pack the rest of our food to go. Magically, they brought out two plastic bags. I laughed, took one, and explained the real reason we needed it. Their reaction? They went inside and started laughing.

Customer service clearly doesn’t exist here, and there’s absolutely no effort to make guests feel comfortable or cared for. Honestly, the food isn’t worth the money, and the overall experience left a bad taste. Definitely not...

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. The food was so deppressingly bad, I don’t think I’ve ever ate anything worst. Please do not come here. 3 dishes and 2 drink costed 1.500k vnd. Extra taxes and services charges. I would be happy to pay a good price for good food but this is not it. Made a bad choice not reading the reviews before coming, we were supposed to go to the restaurant next to this but it was not opened yet.

It was supposed to be Spanish pizza with Serrano ham and rocket and they put LETTUCE in it instead without informing us. Who does this? If you’re Italian I warn you they’ll put lettuce in your pizza and give you extra ketchup to go with it.

The ribs is really bad, looks like a slack of meat that’s been cooked ages ago and just got warm up - microwave ribs.

Seafood salad was dreadful , no flavour. Glass noodle was cooked for too long.

Got a bellyache 30 mins later.

Please please don’t ever come here and waste your money and ruin...
